So historic, beautiful, and classic. You want to immerse yourself in the entire city. Was super easy to get around and we had an incredible time watching both the locals and the tourists. I will say we didn’t find the perfect food spot.Guest review byeleanorUnited States - 10.0

Even though I was told that Dubrovnik is a touristy and crowded city, the end of August is one of the best times to visit. There are fewer people and the air is cooler (which is very nice for walking and swimming). Of course, the location of your accommodation matters. I loved everything about Dubrovnik and would happily go again. My personal highlights were the Old Town and the sightseeing viewpoint at the top of Dubrovnik (the cable car wasn't working, so we took a taxi, but you can also take a bus). Color of the water, fresh air, smell of the trees - just wow!Guest review byOLGAEstonia - 10.0

The old city of Zadar is historically very interesting. It also has a sea organ. Fantastic place to go sailing from as there are lots of beautiful islands to visit including the Kornati National Park.Guest review byUrsulaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

ChatGPT said: What I like most about Budva is the way it blends the charm of history with the vibrancy of the Adriatic coast. Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town feels like stepping back in time, with its stone houses, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old churches exuding a timeless character. Yet just beyond the ancient walls, the lively beaches and waterfront promenade create an entirely different energy—filled with the scent of the sea, the sound of music drifting from cafés, and the hum of people enjoying the warm Montenegrin sun. It’s this unique contrast—where tradition and modern life meet against a backdrop of turquoise waters and rugged mountains—that makes Budva feel endlessly captivating.Guest review byshenajKosovo - 10.0

Durres is a city of contrast from the Roman ampitheater to the beach, pool and shopping. Tasting the fresh fish from one of the seafront restaurants is a must but make sure you also fill up on byrek and sufflaqe! Pelikan has lots of amazing cakes for sweet treats, Tropikal resort has an amazing pool you can use for the day (1000leke) and the market is a hidden gem for bargains. The bus from the beach at Plepa along to the city Center gets VERY busy but for 40leke saves the stress of driving and trying to park and everywhere is then just a short walk. We love Durres and will be back.Guest review byLucieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Pula is a very nice place with friendly people.
Pula is a very nice place with friendly people. We really, really enjoyed it! The restaurants were great, and there was so much to see and learn. I would recommend a minimum stay of 7 days to fully experience everything the city and surrounding area have to offer.Guest review byChesronNetherlands - 10.0
Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches.
Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches. The restaurants are good as well, and anybody can find something to pass the time. The nightlife is very active, there are many oppurtinites to have a party. Who is looking for a more quiet holiday, they should consider book their aparment away from the city center. The beaches are good but sometimes overcrowded. If you plan to visit other places in Istria, Porec is a good "home base". Everything is 50-70km away.Guest review byÁdámHungary - 10.0
We were there for 4 nights so basically had 3 days to visit.
We were there for 4 nights so basically had 3 days to visit. Free historical tour and craft tour are available and steps away from the studio. These walking tours give you an opportunity to visit the many alleyways of shops as well as give you the background of the culture and politics. Restaurants are numerous and food is good. Smoking is heavy on the outdoor dining so non-smokers must sit inside. Farmers market is a couple of blocks up the street along with the fish market. Bring a bag. A lot of things are paid in cash. Local wine is a hit and a miss. Golf carts are available to take you around for less than a taxi.Guest review byAwesomeManUSUnited States - 10.0

Kotor is a beautiful town in a great location engage in lots of different activities. We particularly enjoyed the cable car and a boat ride but there is lots to see and do. We had a car so we could travel a bit in the area. The coast drive to Tivat is lovely and we enjoyed some time in Tivat. A word of warning. Traffic jams are an issue. Driving through Kotor can be painstakingly slow. As I write, August 2025, there are major roadworks between Tivat and Budva, which is about 25k. We took an hour and a half from Kotor to Budva and two and a half to return. We moved from Kotor to Virpazar and chose to come over the mountain on the Serpentine. Fab views, tricky enough hairpin bends. We did get caught at a bend where 2 buses met and failed to pass each other. Took about 20 minutes to sort out with about 30 cars having to reverse a couple of hundred yards. Interesting driving! In general we are loving Montenegro. Safe, welcoming and gorgeous.Guest review byCotterIreland - 10.0

Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. The only downside is that during the peak season it is really crowded.Guest review byEvaSlovakia
