The hotel was beautiful with stunning facilities! The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious and modern with everything you needed 👏🏼 The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly when I asked for a late check-out and offering me the use of the facilities afterwards. The spa and wellness facilities were absolutely perfect! The perfect way to end your stay at Cora!

Have to say that the hotel exceeded my expectations. Unfortunately we were only able to spend one night here but wish it was more. Great views in a large room. Also quite possibly the best hotel gym I have used to date. The pool area is the ideal place to cool off after a day in the Croatian heat. Great sound insulation in the rooms from the street and internal sounds.

An amazing place to explore but very busy as the height of the summer season. I would get up early to read all the interpretation boards dotted around the city centre while it was quiet. Diocletian's Palace is a real historic jewel and the port from was great to walk along. Don't forget to explore the Forest Park Marjan!

We spent 3x nights here. If you’re on a budget to include more of europe, maybe 2 nights would be enough to soak up the tourist parts of the old city and beaches for quick r&r, then transfer to an island like Korcula (2 nights). Be mindful of return ferries (leaving Korcula)becos they can be cancelled without you knowing. Do a day island hopping from Korcula .. well worth it. Beach umbrellas are way cheaper to hire than Dubronvik. Would definitely return to Dubronvik, but next time with friends.

Zadar is a wonderful city, and I especially liked the Diklo – a quiet and peaceful place, although the supermarkets there are very small. If you plan to cook for yourself, it is better to go to the city centre where there are larger supermarkets. However, even there the selection of fruit is quite poor – there were no figs, even though they grow everywhere! From Diklo to the centre of Zadar you can take bus number 8. The fare is paid in cash, and the buses run until 11 p.m. The timetable can be found here: https://liburnija-zadar.hr/en/city-transport/ In the Old Town you can also book excursions. I went to KRKA and really enjoyed it, but you should also take cash with you. The average bill for lunch (for example, fish and a beer) is around €25–35 for one person. The beaches are a bit dirty.

ChatGPT said: What I like most about Budva is the way it blends the charm of history with the vibrancy of the Adriatic coast. Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets of the Old Town feels like stepping back in time, with its stone houses, hidden courtyards, and centuries-old churches exuding a timeless character. Yet just beyond the ancient walls, the lively beaches and waterfront promenade create an entirely different energy—filled with the scent of the sea, the sound of music drifting from cafés, and the hum of people enjoying the warm Montenegrin sun. It’s this unique contrast—where tradition and modern life meet against a backdrop of turquoise waters and rugged mountains—that makes Budva feel endlessly captivating.

Durres is a city of contrast from the Roman ampitheater to the beach, pool and shopping. Tasting the fresh fish from one of the seafront restaurants is a must but make sure you also fill up on byrek and sufflaqe! Pelikan has lots of amazing cakes for sweet treats, Tropikal resort has an amazing pool you can use for the day (1000leke) and the market is a hidden gem for bargains. The bus from the beach at Plepa along to the city Center gets VERY busy but for 40leke saves the stress of driving and trying to park and everywhere is then just a short walk. We love Durres and will be back.

Very nice city, with wonderful old town and nice beaches. The restaurants are good as well, and anybody can find something to pass the time. The nightlife is very active, there are many oppurtinites to have a party. Who is looking for a more quiet holiday, they should consider book their aparment away from the city center. The beaches are good but sometimes overcrowded. If you plan to visit other places in Istria, Porec is a good "home base". Everything is 50-70km away.

We were there for 4 nights so basically had 3 days to visit. Free historical tour and craft tour are available and steps away from the studio. These walking tours give you an opportunity to visit the many alleyways of shops as well as give you the background of the culture and politics. Restaurants are numerous and food is good. Smoking is heavy on the outdoor dining so non-smokers must sit inside. Farmers market is a couple of blocks up the street along with the fish market. Bring a bag. A lot of things are paid in cash. Local wine is a hit and a miss. Golf carts are available to take you around for less than a taxi.

Kotor is a beautiful town in a great location engage in lots of different activities. We particularly enjoyed the cable car and a boat ride but there is lots to see and do. We had a car so we could travel a bit in the area. The coast drive to Tivat is lovely and we enjoyed some time in Tivat. A word of warning. Traffic jams are an issue. Driving through Kotor can be painstakingly slow. As I write, August 2025, there are major roadworks between Tivat and Budva, which is about 25k. We took an hour and a half from Kotor to Budva and two and a half to return. We moved from Kotor to Virpazar and chose to come over the mountain on the Serpentine. Fab views, tricky enough hairpin bends. We did get caught at a bend where 2 buses met and failed to pass each other. Took about 20 minutes to sort out with about 30 cars having to reverse a couple of hundred yards. Interesting driving! In general we are loving Montenegro. Safe, welcoming and gorgeous.

Smaller yet compact old city center where you will find everything you need just in few steps. Big grocery store just next to the bus station, big outdoor market place, fish market, promedande, countless number of restaurants, public transport and several beaches. The only downside is that during the peak season it is really crowded.
