- From $147.29 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 2,095 reviewsEverything was excellent, cleanliness, staff, location, view, facilities, food, parking etc. They were very helpful, accurate and supportive. Location is excellent, close to the Royal Palace and medina, still quite away of all the crowd. Balcony view to Medina , specially at night is very nice, almost romantic. Taxi is available in a minute, with more then affordable price. (Necessarily negotiate with the driver). Dinner is quite OK, with acceptable price. Breakfast OK as well.Guest review byDragan SocSerbia

Fez is a fascinating city, full of life, commerce, and talented artisans. To appreciate Fez, come with an open-mind, ready to explore a world that in many ways hasn't changed in hundreds of years. A good guide can help you appreciate the history and beauty of some of the historic buildings (the medrasa, the tanneries, the oldest university), the quality of the handicrafts and the way of life of the people who make the medina their home. Visiting the Fez medina is an intense and rewarding experience.Guest review byLindaUnited States - 8.0

Early September was the wrong time to go there (my mistake) - far too hot to be enjoyable. Getting around in the Medina was very difficult and sometimes frustrating. There one can easily fall into the trap of being accosted by self-styled guides who will take you to various shops and ask you for money at the end. Perhaps for an older traveller it would have been better to lodge outside the Medina and visit it from there with an official tour. On the positive side, some of the sites were very beautiful and the people mostly very friendly and helpful.Guest review byMacFinland - 6.0
The medina is a Unesco protected cultural heritage.
The medina is a Unesco protected cultural heritage. Too bad the only thing you can see, apart from some (mostly closed) gates, is old narrow streets and shops. Locals prey on tourists in order to squeeze them dry :) In Rabat or Salé you can get a more authentic sense of a medina without the commercial pressure.Guest review byPeterItaly
