We were just two people, but we booked a large room for four and it was definitely worth it. The two-room suite is located in a separate building on the second floor, above a tavern that was closed for renovation. This turned out to be a great bonus – no noise, and we had almost the entire building to ourselves since the only things in it were our suite and the closed tavern.
The private entrance provided complete seclusion and plenty of space. But the real highlight of this room was the view from the window. The Sigulda hills and the Gauja River were absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed watching the sunset colors, the mist enveloping everything, and then another beautiful sunset from the bay window.
Of course, the room was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable double bed in one room and two single beds in the other. We will definitely stay here again next time!

Vince and Inguna are super nice people. We felt instantly at home. The house is very homey as well. It is beautiful and was super clean.
The kitchen is for everyone and has everything we needed. We had the room with the balcony, a bathroom and a comfortable bed!
We almost did not leave the property during our three nights stay because we felt so relaxed there. We’d love to come back more frequently to stay a couple of days! It’s just so far from Spain..
Thank you two for the great experience and the tips on where to go during our stay. It was so nice to meet the both of you! 🌻

Exceptional location in the middle of a nature park. I loved how they organized the building and the surroundings, very harmonious.
We used sauna and the hot tub, and it was just perfect. Thank you for the birch whisk, nice and thick.
Spacious rooms upstairs, large dining table downstairs, grill facilities outside, everything you need for a retreat.

Calm and relaxing location, amazing home made breakfast (with fresh forest berries), very kind and helpful hostess plus Turaida and Sigulda castles, walking roots, Cesis old town. Thank you, we enjoyed staying at Turaidas zieds and would definitelly recommend this place to everyone looking for homelike stay.

It is a nice small place, where it is quiet, the rooms are nice, and have what you need. The room even head a fridge, which other hotels didn’t have. Nice and big bathroom, everything was really clean. The food was good, and they had their own bakery, with interesting and good backed goods

The house was extremely clean and cozy. We had absolutely everything we needed. Parking was also spacious (with big bush to hide the car behind ;) ).
The walkways were cleared of snow and the house preheated before arrival, very much appreciated.

I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception.
I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. They do not bring any additional food for missing items.

Sigulda is a great place to overcome obstacle courses located in the treetops. In the "Mežakakais" adventure park, you will be challenged by 6 tracks with 82 obstacles of varying difficulty. On the other hand, in the largest open-air adventure park in the Baltics - Tarzāns, you will not only be able to climb 20 meters above the ground, but also go down the toboggan track. Also Bungee Sigulda is a unique place in Europe, where jumps with a bungee are taken from a CABLE CAR.
