In terms of location, style, room design, the owner's attention to details, food, staff, organization - this is the best place I've stayed in in Sri Lanka. and it’s especially incredible that all this was in a relict forest, where it was obviously much more difficult to organize everything at this high level. The atmosphere of the place and the energy of the people working in this hotel are amazing. Upon arrival, Ice tea was like a friendly gesture, a flower on the table, cool room design, floor-to-ceiling windows, a view of the pond with water lilies in the fog in the morning - indescribable. very very tasty and varied breakfasts and generally very tasty prepared food. the best owner Prasad who's meeting guests like old friend and always in touch and manager of the restaurant Tikiriki, and wonderful women who work for our pleasure. We stayed in Birds Paradise Hotel for three nights and birding around Sinharaja. The staff are very friendly and always helpful to our needs. And I was satisfied with the breakfast and dinners in the hotel which comforted me whenever I needed. Highly recommend!

Amazing bungalows with a spectacular view. We had everything we needed there and it was such a good space to just relax and enjoy nature. The bungalows were very clean and the common areas were nice to spend time in. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to switch off and connect with nature.

Where to start? Hemal is such a such a kind guy and the best host you can imagine. It’s a new hotel so I was happy to be the first client. The hotel is at the entrance of the park and besides the great and spacious rooms as well as great food made by his wife, Hemal is an awesome forst guide that spots animals from a distance away! I did both the night tour seeing loris, scorpions, deer and snakes etc. (be silent while he’s spotting) as well as day tour with a.o. endangered monkeys and a beautiful waterfall. Also, from the terraces you can spot a lot of peacocks and other birds in the front of the stay. He also helped me arrange a taxi a good price back. 200% worth the visit!
