United KingdomHands down the best and freshest food we had in our two week journey through Kenya. Locally farmed chicken, fresh vegetables and tea farmed just behind the property. This is not your usual holiday destination. Its in the Kenyan highlands and we didnt see any foreign tourists there which made it even more special. We had a huge suite with 2 double beds. The hotel is locally ownded and managed. The Kenyan highlands are an agricultural paradise, fresh fruit and vegetables and miles and miles of tea plantations. The weather is cool and the scenery stunning. We stayed here to access Abedare Park but the closest gate was inaccessible and we had to drive 50 miles away to Treetops Gate. This location is worthy of a visit, the Chinga Dam is very picturesque. The staff, Rose and Peter the chef are fantastic and a real credit to the hotel. Will definitely visit again.
