- From £128.35 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.0Good - What previous guests thought, 2,722 reviewsDecor and ambience of the hotel. The different types of seating in the lobby, also swing seats, the library with it's tall chairs, books and chess, the lighting along the corridor, etc made the hotel unique. Spacious and comfortable room. Large bathroom with separate bath and huge walk in shower. The buffet restaurant which also had a seating area on the balcony with a view of the hot springs waterfall, which I was fortunate to be able to enjoy whilst eating my dinner. The buffet dinner and breakfast were delicious with a variety of options. Your choice of omelettes and pancakes are cooked in front of you upon request. I went to the public hot springs and the hotel pool which is water from the spring. I only went into one of the public hot springs and with clothing. The largest public hot spring was occupied only by men at the time so I preferred to use the hotel pool instead. The water is definitely hot. If you want to relax and a stress free environment this place is ideal. There is nothing else in the area and you can only reach this place by car.Guest review byAndrieCyprus
- From £118.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 28 reviewsThis was an amazing experience, I honestly don’t know why everyone isn’t staying here. You get to be onsite overnight, in this beautiful and tranquil setting, and have access to the Jordan River, and watch the stars. I have never slept so well or so deeply. And we even had the resident cat, Ginger, giving us the grand tour, and come to get us for breakfast the next morning 😄 The manager was very kind, and arranged for a priest in the Catholic church next door to give us a tour of the baptism site the next day (we are catholic). This was amazing, and we got a full explanation of each part of the site, and we got to spend time at each part of the baptism site. (Usually, to visit during the day, tours are only 30mins to only the main baptism part). Irena cooked us the best vegetarian dinner, and then an excellent breakfast the next morning, and was so kind. There is also tea, coffee and as many biscuits as you can eat provided! I can’t recommend highly enough!!Guest review byLouiseIreland

We were allocated chalet 14 with uninterrupted views of that famous pool of water. Thank you to Sameer and his supporting staff. The Dead Sea itself is a wonder of nature: the extremely salty water which keeps you floating, the white shores, the crystal-clear waters and the rocky-mountain shores lit up by the sun. Definitely worth a week visit!Guest review byStefan IchimBelgium - 8.0
The Mujib is for people who want to wind down and go slow.
The Mujib is for people who want to wind down and go slow. The place needs some attention and could use a coat of paint and some general maintenance. The staff are very nice, but why are there no women working there? Overall we would recommend Mujib Chalets. The site is so beautiful and the Dead Sea so weird that there is no place like it.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

From the moment i arrived until i left i felt at home, everyone was kind, the owner his son and all his family. We had dinner together and I had the pleasure of spending a wonderful evening with all the relatives around a fire drinking tea. Safi Kitchen offers a variety of tours in the surrounding canyons and historical tours around the area. Excellent food, spacious apartment equipped with all comforts, internal parking. I will definitely come back. Thank you Safi Kitchen. DiegoGuest review byDiegoItaly - 10.0
Best for experiencing the Dead Sea at a leisurely pace.
Best for experiencing the Dead Sea at a leisurely pace. One should only select the locations having direct access to the dead sea. We stayed at the Samarah resort so didn't actually go into the city, and didn't feel the need to. The facilities here may not be as good as found in other parts of Jordan. It all depends on the hotel/ staying accommodation selected. We also didn't explore the other tourist sites near Sowayma - if you feel the need to, then plan to stay for at least 3 nights.Guest review byLaukikIndia - 6.0
I like the location and the staff at the bar.
I like the location and the staff at the bar. They were friendly and polite. In my opinion this hotel should be 3 star. The breakfast had very limited choice of food; cleanliness much to be desire, staff didn't speak English (or barely speak) with bar staff be the exception. However my worse experience was with the lady that was security guard at the entrance to the hotel. I felt she was getting great pleasure in checking my grocery shopping!! Twice!!she was rude and und unpleasant . This was my third visit to Sowayma (different hotels) but never I felt so unwelcomeGuest review byRenataUnited Kingdom
