- From £291.90 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,006 reviewsWe were very impressed by the value for money and the staff! The team there Franz, Tonia, Marco and Alessandra went over and beyond every day to make our stay the BEST. They even let my daughter have extra pie and booked a nail appointment for my other daughter in the next city we were visiting as it was her birthday and there were no appointments in Pompei so they booked it in Amalfi for us. We loved the horses and the small farm. The meal at the restaurant was delicious.Guest review byJodySwitzerland
- From £68.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,178 reviewsExcellent facilities in the hotel. I would have loved to have stayed longer. It's close to Pompeii, and I was able to walk to the site which was great. The route is also safe enough to walk alone. The bed was comfortable and the bath was incredible after 2 long days of walking in the ruins My only request is for a bit better internet downstairs. But other than that, the room was stunning and Asarah was lovelyGuest review byRandallSouth Africa
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,377 reviewsRich decorated building. Very nice territory. We slept well, enjoyed our breakfast and spent some very peaceful hours here. There was some event in the evening in the banquet hall, but it doesn't interfere. Seems that it's a place for events so may be it's not so comfortable in other days We loved rose bushes (red and white) and saw two cats black and white. I think there can be a kind of story :)Guest review byDariaGreece
- From £97.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,080 reviewsThis place was awesome for our trip to Pompeii, located very close to one of the entrances to the ruins. Also walkable distance to the Pompeii train station and right in the town centre, so plenty of options for food and eating out..great breakfast overlooking the ruins. Good aircon in the room and double glazing meant it was quiet at night. Lovely hotel, we will definitely be back!Guest review byJacquelineNew Zealand
- From £72.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 165 reviewsLovely hotel, very, very clean. Room was huge. Well presented. Right on a roundabout but couldn’t hear any noise - good insulation. Great restaurant, excellent serving sizes and not expensive. Good location with restaurants, cafes and supermarkets all within about 200m. Verandah was huge and I would only suggest the hosts perhaps put a little table and chair out there for sitting.Guest review byRonAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 890 reviewsBeautiful quiet patio full of lemon trees, where you can have breakfast or dinner. Delicious pastries for breakfast and even better coffee served by the staff. Great location, very close to the Pompeii museum, local cafe's (if you will and want to try your luck finding better coffee then the one you'll be served for breakfast).Guest review bySzymonPoland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 997 reviewsLocation is excellent, very close to Pompeii ruins. They have many animals (rabbits, horses, cow, pigs, duck, cats,...) which our children adored and a lot of playground to run around. Staff is excellent, they made us feel really welcome. Also dinner was great, especially the mixed meat. I would recommend it to everyone.Guest review byBoris ErzetičSlovenia

Pompeii is a great place to visit, particularly for the archaeological site. People around the town itself are friendly and there are lots of good eating places. There are lots of places to stay within a short walking distance to the ruins itself.Guest review byJillItaly - 8.0

Nice area to walk around although many restaurants close in the afternoon and then open after 7pm. Some were closed for the summer season. There was some litter on the streets. People were very friendly and helpful.Guest review byDhinsUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Smallish town with magnificent church. Lots of services available and in a strategically convenient location between Sorrento and Napoli. Long pedestrian only area. Fresh, very fresh food, OYSTERS, cheerful residents.Guest review byMargaret De GregorioCanada - 10.0

We stayed for 2 nights during a trip to Italy as we wanted to visit Pompei and Vesuvius. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer, but had made accommodation and travel plans in advance. Mena and Luigi are the most welcoming hosts you could possibly hope for. They showed us around the property and ensured we felt incredibly well looked after. The property is an oasis of calm close to the archaeological sites and to Mount Vesuvius. Breakfast is wonderful, and dinner in the restaurant is worthy of a visit alone.Guest review byLukeledIreland - 8.0

It was close to a train line and it was easy to get to Naples. Also the location was good as it was in the middle and we could go to Naples and to Amalfi coast, Pompeii from here with little problem. The traffic in Naples is chaos so it was good that we could get there by train and then use the metro from there.Guest review byIgorSlovenia - 8.0
This area was quite calm in comparison to Pompeii or Naples.
This area was quite calm in comparison to Pompeii or Naples. A big advantage are the views of the sea and the surrounding towns, and you can also see Mount Vesuvius. The roads were broken in places and very dirty full of rubbish, which is typical of all the nearby towns. For traveling with a smaller car it is OK, with a bigger car I would be afraid of the narrows and wild traffic.Guest review byAlesCzech Republic - 8.0

The hotel is an Italian villa built in 1711, with a lot of Baroque decoration in the building and surrounding park. Our room (a junior suite) was large, with a small balcony and separated bathroom/toilet. We even had a jacuzzi bath, functioning. The fittings however were oldish and the provided amenities did not live up to a 5 star hotel standard. Breakfast was decent but monotonous, again not living up to a 5 star hotel standard. The hotel is a venue for social events (marriages, birthdays etc) involving a high level of noise, loud music and fireworks most of the nights (in our case 8 out of the 9 nights we spent there) up to well past 11 pm and sometimes later. Take this in consideration if you like to come to an oasis of calm and serenity after a long day in the Italian heat. You'll not find it in this hotel. Parking is available and free even if crowded at evenings with the vehicles of the guests to one of the events. The pool is nice looking but I never saw one person using it and there always was an underwater cleaning robot doing its thing in the morning. It seems the pool is more of a decorative item than a usable guest amenity. All things considered our stay at the hotel was pleasant, the evening noise bearable with the help of ear plugs and the TV allowed me to connect an Amazon FireTV stick and enjoy my favourite entertainment without being restricted to Italian TV programs.Guest review byAdrianBelgium - 10.0
Great place for trips around.
Great place for trips around. Great transport accessibility by train to Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum. It is a clean city according to local customs. There are many shops and services available. The location is very well accessible from the airport (by car 15 minutes, if there is no rush hour).Guest review byPavelCzech Republic - 10.0

I have an interest in ancient Roman history (from reading the novel by Robert Harris) and on that basis I ended up spending two days at the site (not one as originally planned). I think even spending a full day there 9am-7pm would exhaust all but the most dedicated traveller, given the heat in peak Summer (when I travelled). Also, bring some decent footwear: the narrow paved areas on each side of the street mean you have to keep jumping off to walk along the road itself which has very irregular stones which are a trip hazard. Gets busy, lots of tour buses. I didn't go as part of an organised tour, but what I did get and found useful was the audio tour guide thing that you can purchase from the visitor centre office before you go in. This provides basic information on each building once you key in the number. There is water available on site that you can use to fill up a bottle. Cafe on site also but was so busy, I didn't even think of joining the queue. I paid the extra 6 Euro for the visit to the villas, outside the main site and thought it was worth it. In fact I couldn't believe that the building I was walking through was over 2000 years old, it looked from the outside like 50 years at the most.Guest review bygraham001United Kingdom
