We had an amazing vacation at Santre in the Italian Alps. First of all, the scenery and the ambiance of the hotel were incredible. The food was fantastic, and I want to thank the chefs. In such a cold place, the heating system was designed exceptionally well. The infinity pool was stunning. I hope we can come back again. Thank you to the entire Santre team for this wonderful hospitality.

A stunning hotel property located on the most beautiful Italian street. The location is perfect for trips and sights around the north. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lots of storage space (which is usually lacking in most hotels!), with tea and coffee making facilities. The staff are all very friendly and speak very good English. We only had breakfast one morning of our 5 night stay as we were so busy out exploring each day early, but what we did have was really good food. The spa is also a very nice addition at the end of a busy day hiking to use.

A wonderful mountain hut surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Each room has a large window with a view of the mountains. Wonderfully relaxing and an excellent place to spend a couple of days away from everything. Great walks and plenty of fresh air. Wonderful young couple who are very welcoming and excellent hosts.     great SPA, two sauna ceremony every day, great equipment for kids as well as for adults only, amazing food, plenty options on breakfast, dinner was excellent, we have enjoyed a lot, very good position for hiking as well as for skiing, just 5 mins by car from cabin lifts on Jochberg or Gitschberg, you can use also ski bus directly from hotel, Malga Fane nice walk for families + hotel's own Masl hut with brunch, very nice daily program organized by hotel, we definitely return in future :)

    Beautiful and peaceful place. The chalet is like home. We really felt like somewhere we had already been several times.     This is a relatively small town and so easily walkable with...

    This is a relatively small town and so easily walkable with lots of really nice local bakers, and shops selling cheese, wine, speck and chocolate - plus the usual supermarkets, pharmacies and places where you can get all your hiking and walking gear. Try strolling along all the narrow streets that lead off the main square to see what's there. A really pleasant and slightly longer walk to take is by following the path along the river to the nearby Neustift/Novacella Abbey where you can try the excellent wine they make there (the local grape varieties are Kerner and Sylvaner) and cheese.

    Nice and clean apartment. Even we only had contact with the host via the chat, the host was very helpful though. The location of apartment was perfect. It's located in the city center. We love the view outside the living room. Parking was 15 euro per night, it's very nearby apartment. We had a lovely stay at Casa Fellin.

    This is a fantastic place to stay. We really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. We were able to rent good bicycles near by from Marcus and the local restaurant Glassl brau was so good we ate there 3 nights. The owner of the hotel gave us some excellent roads to ride.

    Laion is a lovely little town, quiet and cosy.

    Laion is a lovely little town, quiet and cosy. Several restaurants and a shop are available, but all the surrounding villages are easily accessible by car. There is a ski bus to the ski slopes, but you can also get there quickly by car. It's not crowded, it has an authentic atmosphere for those who don't like crowds and want to enjoy real country hospitality. Last but not least, don't miss the pizza in the bar near the sport field :)

    Funes is a lovely spot surrounded by hills. Seems like a bit aside from the "civilization" but just out of the crowded cities. Nice if you are looking for a base camp for hiking and exploring Dolomiti.

    It is a decent base for trips in the Dolomites, but there are better. I chose it due to availability and prices. While the city sits right on the side of the autostrada, the actual connections to it are quite far and take surprising long to get to. The Aquarena is a good place for kids to spend a few hours.
