There is only one word that can describe the hotel - wooow! Location, facilities, food, staff.. I don't remember the last time I had such a nice stay. The hotel is very chic and elegant. Food is one time, gosh the dinner deserves a Michelin star, I felt the umami there. You have to go and experience it yourself, you won't regret, I can promise you. Wellness area was amazing, too. The infinity pool, the jacuzzi, the sauna.. all with a view towards the mountains. Respect to the Goller Family for creating such a jewel and for taking an active part in running the hotel. My birthday happened to be during my stay in the hotel and the whole staff made sure it is a birthday I will never forget. Looking forward to my next visit.

If there would be a chance to give 11 points, I would definitely give 11! I think I experienced one of the most comfortable bed in my whole life, but definitely the best breakfast that I have ever had so far. We couldn't even choose from the selection. So many healthy and special options to choose from. We will for sure come back again to this lovely little town and would 100% book Hotel Walther von der Vogelweide!

We visited the hotel on the 2nd of January. Excellent location in nature. Nice dinner and breakfast with local products. Friendly staff. You should walk around to feel the beauty. Although we didn’t know what to expect we were pleasantly surprised with overall experience of the hotel. Room was cosy, but it had all we need. large closet, spacious bathroom and magnificent view. Window bed was such a gem, especially in the night when we were able to look into the sky and watch the stars from the bed – it felt like we are somewhere outdoor in the middle of the woods. Breakfast and dinner offered quite a variety of the food. We were anxious every evening to see what will be on the menu. Staff was very helpful and it felt like they'll do anything to fulfill all our wishes. Spa center is not the biggest one, but saunas are and outside pools offer breathtaking views to surrounding mountains. We've loved sauna infusion programs and morning activities that were organised. We've stayed for five days, but next time it should be seven.

    It was beyond expectation! We walked a lot during the first two weeks of our trip to Italy, and we had just gone on a hike to Tre Cime before we arrived the hotel. We got a good rest in this hotel. We were expecting to walk around the nearby towns, but the hotel was so nice and well equipped that we didn't want to go out after our stay. We stayed here for two nights and arrived in the afternoon. We thought that only breakfast and dinner were included, but the hotel told us that we could have afternoon tea, which was a pleasant surprise. Moreover, lunch was also included the next day, which was great! All the meals and drinks we had at the hotel were very tasty and fresh. The sauna, pool and lounge were great and very clean. The aroma of the hotel is very pleasant and the rooms are large and very clean and comfortable! The staff was very nice, always smiling and caring. I think I will travel to Italy especially for this hotel.

    great SPA, two sauna ceremony every day, great equipment for kids as well as for adults only, amazing food, plenty options on breakfast, dinner was excellent, we have enjoyed a lot, very good position for hiking as well as for skiing, just 5 mins by car from cabin lifts on Jochberg or Gitschberg, you can use also ski bus directly from hotel, Malga Fane nice walk for families + hotel's own Masl hut with brunch, very nice daily program organized by hotel, we definitely return in future :)

    Beautiful and peaceful place. The chalet is like home. We really felt like somewhere we had already been several times. You will never get tired of the sauna, hot tub with hot water and the view of the mountains. Excellent breakfast and very pleasant and helpful staff.     This is a relatively small town and so easily walkable with...

    This is a relatively small town and so easily walkable with lots of really nice local bakers, and shops selling cheese, wine, speck and chocolate - plus the usual supermarkets, pharmacies and places where you can get all your hiking and walking gear. Try strolling along all the narrow streets that lead off the main square to see what's there. A really pleasant and slightly longer walk to take is by following the path along the river to the nearby Neustift/Novacella Abbey where you can try the excellent wine they make there (the local grape varieties are Kerner and Sylvaner) and cheese.

    Nice and clean apartment. Even we only had contact with the host via the chat, the host was very helpful though. The location of apartment was perfect. It's located in the city center. We love the view outside the living room. Parking was 15 euro per night, it's very nearby apartment. We had a lovely stay at Casa Fellin.

    This is a fantastic place to stay.

    This is a fantastic place to stay. We really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. We were able to rent good bicycles near by from Marcus and the local restaurant Glassl brau was so good we ate there 3 nights. The owner of the hotel gave us some excellent roads to ride.

    Laion is a lovely little town, quiet and cosy.

    Laion is a lovely little town, quiet and cosy. Several restaurants and a shop are available, but all the surrounding villages are easily accessible by car. There is a ski bus to the ski slopes, but you can also get there quickly by car. It's not crowded, it has an authentic atmosphere for those who don't like crowds and want to enjoy real country hospitality. Last but not least, don't miss the pizza in the bar near the sport field :)

    The staff were absolutely lovely and looked after all our needs. The facilities are excellent and the views from the balcony were spectacular. The lift is comfortable and large for a pension this size. The parking once you get there is easy, free and safe even for motorcycles. The dinner and breakfast were home made and the kind lady went round all the guests asking if they would like seconds. I cannot but recommend this pension any further. I have to appologise to the owners and any readers that I made a mistake reviewing this pension with another one in Croatia, a thousand appologies.

    Vipiteno is a beautiful location that affords visitors a step back in time. The cobble stone streets, the picturesque view of the alps, the bell tower and town center are a colorful floral motif. The vintage apartments, businesses, and historic churches make for a wonderful time spent exploring!

    It is a decent base for trips in the Dolomites, but there are better. I chose it due to availability and prices. While the city sits right on the side of the autostrada, the actual connections to it are quite far and take surprising long to get to. The Aquarena is a good place for kids to spend a few hours.

    The cafes and the pubs in Vipiteno are lively with friendly locals and excellent beers and wines. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with little farms dotted around the alps, castles and the mountains themselves are lovely. Even a stroll in the streets is lovely with the little markets that they have set up.
