Perfect location, amazing staff—literally nothing to improve! I personally think it is not ideal for a stay with kids (unless your kids enjoy beautiful views, wine, food, and a quiet location). However, for a couple looking to escape the noisy world, nothing can be better than Banfi!

Pienza is a beautiful village, the Val d'Orcia is breathtaking. We were welcomed by Paola, who is a magnificent ambassador for the property, she really made us feel incredibly welcome. The restaurant was also excellent, we had a fantastic dinner. We came off season, (March) which added to the tranquility. I think you would come here to enjoy a quiet, peaceful retreat, and it is a nice base to explore the Tuscan wine region.

Picturesque location! Everything at the property including amenities were superb! The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The room was a good size, with decent working air conditioning (for Italy) with a lovely view from our balcony. The pool area was just gorgeous and felt very private anywhere you choose to sit - with great views of the surroundings. The spa was very relaxing, and you will need to purchase a cap from reception to wear while using. The property is a very short (10mins max) and enjoyable walk to the gorgeous town of San Quirico d’Orcia. We stayed here for one night before a wedding in Montalcino, and only wished we could have stayed longer! It’s a convenient location to visit other towns in the area, plenty of parking on site. The breakfast had a large selection!

We had the pleasure of staying at a stunning farm located at the top of Val del Orcia in Tuscany, and it was an unforgettable experience. The picturesque surroundings, mesmerizing views, and delicious homemade food created a truly magical stay. From the moment we arrived, the warm and attentive service made us feel like cherished guests. Interacting with the farm animals added an extra layer of charm. As a couple, our two-night stay was a wonderful escape, and we only wished we could have stayed longer. For an idyllic Tuscan retreat, this farm is an absolute must-visit.

Monticchiello is a great hill top village to stay overnight when travelling through Tuscany. Beautifully quiet in the evening but with a number of restaurants to choose from to suit all tastes.
