- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 902 reviewsEverything was simply perfect. Meta is a quiet place with significantly less tourist than Sorrento itself which was a relief for us, and Sorrento is 10min walking+5 minutes by train so can be reached anytime. The town and the hotel itself is on a beatiful place, looks even better than on the pictures here. The rooms are clean and of a tasteful mediterranean style, cleaned everyday if needed, has everything a hotel room should have (italian rooms also tend to have water boiler). Beds are confy too. AC is included in the price and is more than enough. Breakfast was good and their bar and restaurant is perfect, all the dishes were very good and pizza is excelent. The roof bar has a private party almost every evening but in most cases you still can go there, it finishes at midnight and the music isn’t disturbing even with clised windows. Prizes are normal Sorrentin Peninsula prizes. They clean their beach and its water all day if needed. You have to pay for the spot there but it was half the prize of that we had to pay in Amalfi. But still the best is the staff. Everyone was super friendly, taking care of us the whole time and making our stay better only with their personality and urbanity.Guest review byTündeHungary
- From US$626.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 183 reviewsLocated right in front of the beach, this hotel allows for a private and beautiful seaside experience. We could enjoy the sea directly and also comfortably use the swimming pool, which was very well-maintained. The sound of the ocean from our room was absolutely fantastic. After being disappointed with breakfasts at other Italian hotels, the breakfast here was astonishingly good, providing a delicious start to our day. The staff were all friendly, and even those who did not speak English well did their best to help us, which was very touching and helpful to us. A particularly memorable moment was when we first entered our room and found a chilled bottle of sparkling wine, prepared in recognition of our honeymoon. We made such wonderful memories at this place and frequently share stories and photos of our Italian honeymoon with friends. Everything was perfect, and it was an incredibly satisfying experience.Guest review byKyoungWookSouth Korea
- From US$626.33 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 688 reviewsThe hotel is modern, clean, located on a hill - giving an amazing view to the surrounding city and the sea from the rooftop. The personal is friendly and kind. They offered their help with everything. The room had a lovely minimalistic design with cute color decoration. For breakfast, there was a great variety of choices, both al'a carte as well as on buffet - including huge dessert table. Dairy-free milks were available. The hotel has its own garage where you can leave your car without any extra charge - which is helpful if you want to discover the Amalfi coast by car. It has a Michelin recommended restaurant on the roof top with good quality food and a nice bar and a 360 degree view.Guest review byBoglárkaHungary
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 533 reviewsThe location of the hotel is perfect, it has a warm swimming pool and Jacuzzi which can be used even when the weather is cold and you can still enjoy the resort in full. The shuttle is a great service and from the Vico Eqeunse, the very cheap train with a good schedule can take you to almost all attractions. The reception is the most excellent part. The entire reception especially Anna and Valentina are not only very friendly and professional, but also they really care and it feels like the whole staff is doing their best to make you a memorable stay in their resort.Guest review byPantehaNetherlands

The town was quiet and relaxed and pleasant to walk around.
The town was quiet and relaxed and pleasant to walk around. It was much smaller than anticipated and compared to other cities, it had limited tourist attractions. As seasoned Italian travellers and explorers, from Lake Garda to Calabria and everything in-between, there was nothing outstanding about the city and its views compared to its nearby neighbours of the towns of Amalfi and Ravello. Sadly, we were both somewhat underwhelmed.Guest review byMike OrUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro.
Favorite place to eat: Without question, Pizza al Metro. It’s a must-try experience—the pizza is delicious, authentic, and the portions are perfect for sharing. Where we ate: Most of the time, we enjoyed a mix—some meals at home, plenty of pizza at Pizza al Metro, lunches and snacks while out on the boat, and groceries from Conad when we wanted something simple. Getting around: Getting around Vico Equense is very easy—if you have a car. The roads are manageable, parking is available with some planning, and driving makes it simple to explore the surrounding towns and coast. Without a car, moving around could be more challenging. Fun activities for groups of friends: Visiting Positano – an absolute must for its iconic views, boutique shops, and vibrant atmosphere. Exploring Pompeii – a fascinating and powerful experience, especially with a good guide. Renting a boat – one of the highlights, giving us the freedom to enjoy the coastline, swim in hidden spots, and see the Amalfi Coast from the sea. Overall, Vico Equense was a perfect base for both relaxation and adventure—amazing food, convenient location, and plenty of activities for groups of friends.Guest review byDumitrița - 10.0

Our stay at Ristorante Hotel La Primavera could not have been better. The room and hotel were wonderful. The food was great. Best of all the service was 5 star! My wife and I were treated like special guests and family the entire time. Claudio, Nino, Luigi, and Marina and the kitchen staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. We will miss them and hope to see them one day again!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

We enjoyed staying in Sant'Agnello - it's quieter and less touristy than nearby Sorrento, but within a 20 minute walk to Sorrento if you want more shops, bars and restaurants. The Sant'Agnello harbour is beautiful with stunning views of Vesuvius. You can walk up into Sant'Agnello town in 10 mins, where many Italians live. Trains to Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum leave Sant'Agnello station regularly.Guest review byNicolaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A very peaceful and beautiful place with an extraordinary coastline. It’s not overcrowded at all. There are many good restaurants in the center. Like in many other places in Italy, there are no pavements along the road, so stay alert and watch out.Guest review byRothbartHungary - 10.0
Lovely village.
Lovely village. Fabulous views of Bay of Naples, Capri and coastal area. gorgeous cafe across from Church del Lauro. friendly and chatty owner. Local Sita bus available and frequent - central to visit Piano de Sorrento, north to naples and down south to Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi Coast. Supermarkets/local shops for supplies.Guest review bysandraIreland - 8.0
It was fantastic. Great views.
It was fantastic. Great views. Beautiful culture, area, lots to do. Kitchen is a bit small if you plan on cooking every meal but you don’t need to. Affordable local restaurants are walking distance and the best food we had in Italy. Try Eugenia. - restaurant a bit down from the church.Guest review byJonathonUnited States - 10.0
Amazing place to stay with your family or friends.
Amazing place to stay with your family or friends. We enjoyed every moment in the villa. Perfect location to visit Sorrento and Amalfi coast. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill allows to enjoy lovely dinners in the terrace with the sea view. Moreover, pool and lemon tree garden allows you to cool down from the heat. And finally, Pino is such an amazing host! He helped us with everything we need, from finding best restaurants around to having some music in the villa.Guest review byAgneBaLithuania - 4.0
Capri, smalfi and other surrounding areas were way better.
Capri, smalfi and other surrounding areas were way better. Better beaches and more character. The food was hugely over priced and awful. There were very few beaches which all had a charge of around 25 euro. They were crammed into and not pleasant as no sand. The only free beach was a tiny area with boats very near. There was green moss on the walk way into the waterGuest review byKellyIsle of Man - 10.0
Vico Equense is a charming town on the way to Sorrento.
Vico Equense is a charming town on the way to Sorrento. Because of that, traffic is quite busy. We highly recommend taking the train, it is only 15 minutes to Sorrento and about 30 minutes to Pompeii. During our stay they had a street food festival which was quite unique and unexpectedly adding to the charm. All restaurants serve wonderful food! Take a walk around town to visit the many beautiful churches, spectacular ocean views, playground for kids, and many shops. The only disadvantage is the longer walk/lots of stairs to get to the beaches and the expense of renting a sun chair and umbrella. Although we joined lots of other tourists, Vico Equense was 'quiet' compared to Sorrento. We loved it!Guest review byMatthewUnited States
