- From US$158.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 2,550 reviewsCant stress enough, how much the staff influence the experience of this hotel. Both the 2 night receptionists have been so friendly, accomodating and always prepared to help: coffee before breakfast, breakfast earlier than announced, please sit down and I will bring it to you....its rare to meet so friendly staff. The two guys at recetion always go out of their way to help, accommodate and make the paperwork quick and efficiently. Amazing staffGuest review byjesperItaly

The historic center is very walkable.
The historic center is very walkable. Most of the sights and museums are right in the center. But also just walking the small side streets and enjoying the atmosphere, enjoying amazing food and coffee was one of my favorite things to do. Saturday market at porta palazzo is truly a must-experience. In the side streets in the city center watch out for small concept stores and cafes/bars; there are some real juwels to discover. If you like street art, to to the area of Campidoglio (10 min. by metro from the station). Really worth it (during the week, as Sunday everything is closed).Guest review byNicoleSwitzerland - 8.0
Rivoli is a beautiful small town within easy reach of Turin.
Rivoli is a beautiful small town within easy reach of Turin. My friends say it is cooler in summer and visibly above the city smog in the winter. It has easy access to both Turin airport (40 mins) and Milan Malpenso (1.5 hours).. The mountains are close and beautiful as are significant historical town such as Venere. Turin itself a splendid city, with fantastic shops and the best hot chocolate ever! Parking is easy as it is under the squares and streets which are largely given over to pedestrians and service vehicles. The Egyptian Museum is one of the best outside Egypt and beautifully arrranged - the huge Museum of Cinema is by contrast extraordinary is a crazy sort of way - but has a fantastic collection of early cinematography.Guest review byRichardTwinchUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Moncalieri is 15-20 minutes by train to Torino so a bit more reasonable than in the city. It is a small borgo and is very quiet in August when most Italians are on holidays. We used it as a base for doing day trips and visiting the sights in Torino. It has a beautiful couple of churches and a nice piazza with several good restaurants. It is also a good base for day trips to wine country and the mountains. We didn't have a car so used the train to get out of town and walked everywhere else. You can walk (a long walk) from Moncalieri to Torino through Parco Valentino. It is a lovely forested walk along the river Po into the city. Torino is a beautiful and vibrant city.Guest review byLaurieCanada - 10.0

A historic village on a high hillside over looking the surrounding areas. Easy access to pine forests and activities nearby as well as 15 minutes from Turin. Local Italian life away from tourism with plenty of shops and restaurants. I liked the semi rural location and its gentle and quiet pace of life. Restuarants in nearby Chieri are plentiful and there are delicatessen to pick up local produce. At time of visit there were local harvest of grapes and peaches which werr delicious.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 4.0

They assigned us room 308, defective air conditioning, no wifi signal, defective TV, defective sockets, a shame! In the middle of the night and after complaining at the reception, they gave us a room at a standard closer to what we knew about this hotel that we have been visiting for over 10 years. Although we were entitled to be compensated, those in management do not know this elegant and justified way to try to save a situation that should not have happened.Guest review byIP DospinescuRomania - 10.0

A beautiful city with a lot of history. My family love Juventus so they go to the matches.I especially love the Cinema museum.Great places to stay and eat.Not as manic as Milan and fairy quiet in late August against some places.Lots of museums.Very easy to get around city by walking, tram, bus or taxi.Guest review byEvaUnited Kingdom - 6.0

It’s a very quiet town definitely not much at all to do there. Unless you like going to the local bar or local restaurants, people are very friendly in there, need to travel into the capital to have a better experience. In the capital other than window-shopping, parks and plazas , there was not many places that were free. I would like to think that Torino is definitely a very bustling capital in the summer and probably best visited then. lots of museums and such like are there as well, but entry is quite expensive for the normal holiday maker.Guest review byUmeshUnited Kingdom - 10.0

2-3 day visit: Egyptian Museum- beautiful displays, clear, informative discussions about objects - and , of course, the largest collection outside Egypt. Far superior to the Louvre. Unification Museum requires some time to digest the complicated history. Walking city; fun market; clean, no trees except in parks; arcades protect from sun & weather; good restaurantsGuest review bywilliamFrance
