This tiny island is so amazing and a must visit when coming...
This tiny island is so amazing and a must visit when coming to Italy. The water is crystal clear and amazing. Your children will love swimming in it all day. If your looking for a place to stay we stayed at Touring Club Italiano amazing place and so much to do with children. My ten year old and his friend loved it.Guest review byClifford BUnited States - 10.0
The Tremiti islands are like a big playground.
The Tremiti islands are like a big playground. You can do a lot of things - diving, snorkeling, renting a motor boat and exploring various bays and beaches etc. There are various restaurants serving sea food or Italian food at decent prices. La Fenicha is highly recommended. San Domino also has a nice circular walk among the pine trees which is really great. The city center of Villagio San Domino is really charming (unfortunately also very small).Guest review byAndreySwitzerland - 8.0
Very nice small island with pleasant walks.
Very nice small island with pleasant walks. The short boat trip to San Nicola was enjoyable though there monastery/castle there were pretty much ruined and indoor condition. We went very early in the season which meant the islands were nice an quit - we'd not have wanted to be there in July and August (thought we did have quite a few noisy school trips). Very few people spoke English, but the one or two that did were helpful, and very few signs/tourist info boards were in English. We were unlucky with the weather and there's not much to do in the rain. Fortunately we had enough sunny spells to get out and about. Local bars and restaurants were good. The two beaches are small and I imagine very full in the summer. Looked like there are plenty of opportunities to hire boats, paddle boards etc. For an out of season break three or at most four nights would be good.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom
