Just a 5-minute walk from Scalo Cavallo Cliff and 2 km from Favignana centre, Hotel Delle Cave is a small hotel set in a renovated historical building on the limestone quarries.

Aegusa Hotel is a lovely small hotel opened in the heart of Favignana, and set in Palazzo Generale De Giorgi a totally renovated building of the 19th century.

I had a bungalow house opposite the restaurant, very quiet atmosphere, hard working young gentlemen (Michele + Prince, thnx)! Simply furnished with refrigerator, nice and spacious outdoor area. Bring mosquito spray, we are in beautiful nature. Private parking area. I had half-pension, enjoyed a delicious meal by Chef Said and his colleagues. You can rent towels (small price). Rental scooters/bicycles at the entrance. Within walking distance of the beach. Very quiet atmosphere, with campers and igloo house and a chill Cafe with mini supermarket. Perfect base for me to be able to go everywhere by car. Just book! And favignana is just amazing! To be discovered with a small car with insurance and you really have to be able to drive or better a scooter electric bicycle. Plenty to see!
Our apartment was nice, cozy and clean. In a lovely quiet setting with a great terrace where we enjoyed our meals. As far as amenities go, the only thing you need to buy is a sponge and dishwashing detergent. The location is also fine, about 10 min by bike to the centre. It was also great to be able to eat on the premises, where there is a restaurant.
I recommend renting bikes in town because it's much cheaper than in the rental shop near the miramare residence.

We had a really great experience at Ada's place. Location was perfect - just near Lido Burrone, wich is a beautiful beach. Ada is so nice, she helped us rent bikes, she picked us from the port and also booked us a transfer to the port, free of charge. Everything was great and we really recommend Ada's place. 😍
Great location (short, easy walk into town), helpful staff (they arranged a shuttle to collect us from the port and a taxi to go to our next location), good setup for travelling with a child, lovely pool, delicious croissants and coffee for breakfast, and nice private balconies.
Location was great we booked a scooter through the hotel itself, & receptionist was very helpful also we booked a taxi from the hotel to the ferry all very helpful despite we speak italian receptionist could also speak in good english & that was really helpful.
The property is at the centre of the island overlooking one of the main streets. The BB is modest and welcoming. The owner checked in on us when we had difficulties with the crossing & we found the owner’s mother at the BB to greet us.
Comfortable, clean and quiet apartment. Friendly and helpfull host. Good for spending short vacation on this cosy island. Close to city center and (thanks to bikes) enough close to every beach which we wanted to visit.
We were surprised by the quality of this accomodation.It is a pity, that we could not stay longer, because it was lovely there. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. We recommend.
the whole complex was beautiful, very tranquil. we wished we would’ve stayed longer so we could use the pool. Breakfast was very nice with lots of options.

The water is clean and it is worth stopping here for a day.

I absolutely loved Favignana and truly wish I had stayed at least four nights to fully appreciate the beauty and charm of this incredible island. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, soak in the atmosphere, and just enjoy life by the sea.
Getting around is a breeze—renting a bike is the perfect way to explore. The island is small enough to navigate easily, yet full of diverse landscapes and hidden spots waiting to be discovered. What really took my breath away was the water—crystal clear and painted in the most vibrant shades of blue I’ve ever seen. It’s almost unreal.
One thing to note: many of the beaches have sharp rocks that you’ll need to walk over to reach the water. It’s a small price to pay for such pristine conditions, but water shoes might be a good idea!
Another highlight was the hike up to Castello di Santa Caterina. The climb is worth every step—on the way up, you're rewarded with panoramic views that stretch across the island and out to the sea. And when you finally reach the castle, even in its weathered state, it's absolutely stunning. There's something incredibly powerful about standing in such a historic place, surrounded by silence and sky.
Favignana is so much more than a quick stop on a day trip. If you're planning to visit, give yourself time to breathe it in. You won’t regret it.

Favignana is a great Island to visit just off the coast of...
Favignana is a great Island to visit just off the coast of Trapani, only 30 minutes by hydrofoil. You can hire bikes to get around the island, lots of little coves and beaches. The main port town is beautiful and lively on the main street with lots of bars, restaurants and cafes. The accommodation is very central and less than a 10 minute walk from the port.
