It was a lovely hotel. Clean and comfy room. Free sauna anyone can use but must book on advance.

Nice modern hotel for a good price, a rarity in Iceland! We've paid more for hostels with a shared bathroom. Here we had a clean room with private bathroom, complementary coffee and tea, and a great view to top it off :-) Definitely try the Pakhús restaurant nearby: great langoustines and lamb! We walked toward the minigolf at midnight to see the northern lights and had a great night's sleep afterwards.

I like a lot of things, but I love the breakfast the most. The range of food was so vast and everything was absolutely delicious.

I was fortunate to have a free room upgrade through booking.com. My room was massive! I was originally supposed to be staying in my rented campervan, but the local campsite was closed and the weather forecast was for rain. I'm sorry I never got the lady's name on the front desk, but she was amazing! Really lovely and engaging. Recommended that I go to the local pool for a soak in their hot tubs. Best advice ever! Great selection for breakfast

Anna met us to handover the key even though it was quite late in the evening. She was willing to help with anything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage is spacious and very thoughtfully built in a fantastic location. Kitchen is well stocked and there's a BBQ grill in the front deck! There's amazing views of the mountains and glaciers and there're horses in the field nearby.

Located by the harbour in Höfn village, Oldairline Guesthouse offers a shared kitchen/lounge, plus free WiFi and parking. Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is a 1-hour drive away.

This place looks unpromising from the outside, but inside it is lovely. Comfortable room and beds. Spotlessly clean. Modern, well-equipped communal kitchen. Shared bathroom, but this worked absolutely fine. Huge, shared lounge/diner. Good included continental breakfast Easy parking outside. Close to restaurants, shops and a grassy knoll from which to view the glaciers and northern lights (if you get lucky!).
