The casual restaurant (the Beach Grill) served great salads and causal fare. Also a fantastic place to get a beer after a long day at the beach. The beach was well kept and one could go on for miles if you wished. There are also many activities you can participate in from a Earth (Nature) Lab which specialized in the learning of owls to a book keep for those who want to catch up on there reading. The city has a good balance of tradition and modernity, town-ness and urbanisation. Trivandrum has a intimate scale that will appeal to people from large cities, where you can get to one end of the city to another in under an hour. Main roads are just rightly sized, pretty organised and traffic are disciplined compared to most cities in the country. The city is also super clean and tree lined in most parts of central area. Any side you turn, the views are stunning. You should visit during a perfect weather with some rain and fog. It doesn't cool very much during sunny days. Roads are very nice to drive a car.
