- From US$115.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 3,839 reviewsThe hotel staff and the staff at the bar and restaurant was very friendly and helpful! We also got a free upgrade to a better room which was a nice plus :) They made sure that we always had fresh coffee and black tea in the morning and clean sheets :) It is only a 15-20 Minute walk to the city centre of Killarney and there is plenty of room at the car park in front of the hotel. The dinner we had was excellent, especially the dessert (Trifle) and the Pub belonging to the hotel was very cosy :)Guest review byKonzeGermany
- From US$122.61 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 669 reviewsBeautiful space, we only stayed one night but we wish we could have stayed longer. It had even more amenities than you usually find at a hotel (e.g. board games, picnic blankets, and even a nespresso machine)! Very clean kitchen and bathroom, comfy bed, very spacious. We wish that we had time to use the bbq and heated outdoor area. The staff were very communicative before and during arrival. This has converted me to a glamping enthusiast!Guest review byVictoriaUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,839 reviewsI think this was one of the top hotels we have been to with kids. Very kind friendly, activities, and kids club. Food is very good too. One may just stay in the hotel and not go anywhere around but yet killarney has its beauties and these are all within 5 mins drive of the hotel. Definitely to be revisited.Guest review byLesley AnnMalta

We really had just one evening on our way back from the Dingle Peninsula. We arrived at Killarney National Park just at sunset which was magical. I immediately regretted not having scheduled at least an extra day for seeing the place in daylight.Guest review byHannaGermany - 10.0

We drove from Killarney to Dingle and the went on to do the Slea Head Drive; all an easy day. Slea Head drive had many pullovers to park and walk and gorgeous scenery. I found this drive to be much less crowded than the R.O.K. Dingle has lots of local bars and restaurants all within walking distance. We spent one full day in Dingle and then spent the night. I was very pleased we did.Guest review byLaTrendaUnited States - 10.0

I’ve hardly missed a yearly trip to Tralee in over 40 years I’ve been to every attraction in Tralee and surrounding areas nowadays I take a more leisurely approach a few pints meet up with longtime mates and generally have a good time! Usually visit Sean ogs, corner bar, mall bar, greyhound bar ,the huddle bar etc!and for the best and freshest fish on the planet quinnauls near the square!Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Kenmare is an absolutely charming town on the southern side of the Kerry Peninsula. Great dining, wonderful places to stay, such fun to walk all over the town and the perfect launching point for our tour around the Ring of Kerry. We stayed in a wonderful 'townhouse hotel' (bed and breakfast over a beloved pub) right in the heart of the town and loved it. Killarney seems to be the most popular launching point for exploring the Ring of Kerry but we opted for smaller, more local and charming in Kenmare. Absolutely the right choice for our family of four.Guest review byJuliaUnited States - 10.0
Lots to do and see!
Lots to do and see! If thing I would suggest if it's raining or cloudy at all don't go to sea!! We went to the Skelligs. €295 for 5 of us, couldn't see much! Disappointing to say the least! The Skellig Museum on Valentia island across the bridge was surprisingly very good. It looks funny outside & we didn't rate it much! The back of it is what you see first! The take away on the pier was disappointing. Fish & chips wasn't what you'd think it would be beside the sea. The food in both local pubs fabulous. Best to book the Moorings for evening meals. It's very busy. Kerry cliffs well worth seeing also.Guest review bylindaIreland - 10.0

Sneem is a lovely little town. Just the right size for a wander. Everyone we met was very friendly and the Book Shop was amazing. We also bought some cards in a Craft shop that had a spinning wheel outside. Such friendly ladies in both shopsGuest review byJoyIreland - 10.0

It's just 20 mins away from Kilarney National Park - which we visited last (just the Waterfall) Perfect if you plan on visiting Ring of Kerry and wish to take a lap around it - we have managed to see all the highlights (northern-side, i.e. Cahersiveen, Valentia, ending on the Cliffs of Kerry, then driving through the south absolutely gobsmacked with the views) If you want to visit Ring Of Kerry we recommend 2 days there as we wish we spent more and explore South side - definitely visit Valentia and Cahersiveen (coffee at Lazy Cat with view at the cathedral and shopping in the near gift shop) The views or Ring of Kerry are spectacular - Canary Islands, Canada, Zakopane, Peru (one word: Ireland), all mixed up! BIG LOVE!Guest review byKonradUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Nice village to stay for a couple of days, lovely beach and nice restaurants, ate at Chaplins restaurant in the Butler Arms Hotel where we stayed it was excellent, also had lunch in Dooleys which was equally as good. Nice promenade walkwayGuest review byMartin - 8.0
Cahersiveen is a very charming little town.
Cahersiveen is a very charming little town. We came down from Galway, and it is much smaller with fewer pubs and restaurants. The major appeal of this town is it's proximity to gorgeous attractions like Valentia and Skellig island, and being right along the Ring of Kerry. I highly recommend staying near Cahersiveen as your base point if you plan to explore the Ring of Kerry, and if you have a rental car and are comfortable driving on smaller back roads. Strongly recommend Franks Bar and Bistro for food and drinks. Be sure to check out the castle and fort that are very close to the town!Guest review bygallagher - 6.0
