Donegal is a beautiful county and the people go to great effort to ensure that visitors have a good experience. Unfortunately the inclement weather and constant mist cannot be controlled. This of course might be the attraction for some visitors. Good food available in bars throughout the county.Guest review byBredaIreland - 10.0

The view is not great from the rooms but very centrally located Uber charged us 20euro return into the centre maybe if we asked the hotel reception a local can may have been cheaper as it was only a few minutes walk but we had mobility issuesGuest review byStephanieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Bundoran ,being a seaside and holiday destination thrives during the summer. You could meet anyone from anywhere here. But most importantly all are made to feel so welcome by the general community not just the hoteliers and gift shop owners. I accidentally left my rear passenger door actually open all night outside the Bank House and not a thing was touched!!! This coming from someone who has been a victim of a locked car theft in my own driveway in Loughlinstown Co Dublin….Guest review byRuthIreland - 10.0

A lovely and lively small town, with friendly people and plenty of festivals happening, as well as fantastic walks and hikes in the lowlands and foothills around, or the Blue stack mountains a short drive away. Recommend the Corner House or the Beehive Bar for live music, and recommend the cafe in the Heritage Centre for brunch, lunch and snacks.Guest review byDermotSpain - 10.0

Next time we go to Buncrana we shall enjoy going on the ferry. We will enjoy looking inside the large household store on the main street and we shall try to time it so that we can enjoy some of the many musical festivalsGuest review byPatriciaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The spa was the best.
The spa was the best. Booking treatments before hand is needed but the facial was amazing as were the massages. The food was lovely in the hotel restaurant, we were not disappointed. When wanting to try something new we walked 5min to Nancys Barn for even more gorgeous food. Beach was in walking distance with a lovely view and nice walking path.Guest review byMollyIreland - 10.0
Great base for travelling around.
Great base for travelling around. Visited Slieve League, Assaranacha Falls, Mahera beach and caves, the Glengesh Pass, glen columcille, The Rusty Mackerel and The Boathouse in Killybegs, Donegal Town and The smugglers creek in Rossnowlagh . So we covered a lot of ground!!Guest review byJoanIreland - 10.0

Although only there for a short while Bunbeg has all the ingredients of the mystic west. The sunset was spectacular over the beach. Bád Eddie (Eddies boat) on Bunbeg's Magheraclogher beach, in Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore) is a must see. The official story is that the boat was stranded on the beach but we heard from a good source that Eddie did it deliberately. He beached the boat in order to fit a new engine but he was going through a divorce and his wife asked for her share of the boat so he never repaired it.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

There wasn’t enough places to have a meal in the evenings everywhere closed early. No live music in pubs but we were told that it was too early in the season. Spring and Summer I think the pubs would be more livelyGuest review byAnonymous
