Neano Escape - Just remember this name for the gorgeous hotel in Bali. We stayed here for a week. As we walked through the lobby, we were immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly front desk where we were greeted by the Kuskus manager. Many thanks for upgrade our room as a complimentary! The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location is very quiet and very much relaxing, especially at the pool area. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to Bali. Will be back to Neano definitely!

My wife and I had a great time in Canngu thanks to the great atmosphere and location of Ecozy Dijiwa. All the staff and the resort manager Rumadi have been so kind during all the time there. They took care of us and prevented any kind of needs. The location is vvery well-organized and they supported us in planning the activities in Canggu and in the other places to visit Bali. Finally, the room was super clean with a fantastic view. We chose the room with a private garden and it has been very comfortable and relaxed spending our days there. Furthermore, the breakfast and the dinner were rich in variety and very tasty and personalised based on the needs. I strongly recommend this place in Canggu!!

FAQs about hotels in Bali

An Island Dream

The dream destination of Bali is where volcanic landscape meets lush rice terraces and pristine beaches. Not to mention the fantastic surfing, cheap shopping and pervading spirituality that have made this Indonesian island a long-time favourite for backpackers.

The island’s capital is Denpasar in the south, but its surf and party capital is nearby Kuta. Swaying palm trees line the beach here and many more cover the grounds of the Bali hotels on the beach in more exclusive Seminyak to the north.

On the island’s north coast, Pemuteran beach offers lovely views of the sloping mountains heading towards the Bali Sea. Many beaches on this coast are black sand, including sweeping Lovina beach from where dolphins can often be seen. Tulamben in the east is one of the better diving resorts in Bali, while Sanur is a popular option for families.

Ubud is the island’s cultural capital and houses a monkey sanctuary in its jungle-like landscape. An ancient Hindu temple is found here, but the best-known temple is Tanah Lot, surrounded by water. There are also hundreds of fantastic spas in Bali, as well as meditation and yoga classes that you can join.

Whether you choose to stay inland or by the beautiful coastline, Booking.com has a great range of villas, guest houses and hotels in Bali.

Absolutely Exceptional Stay From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. Every interaction felt personal and genuine, making us feel truly cared for. The service was flawless from the front desk to housekeeping, room service, and even the spa team, everyone was professional yet warm. The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, often anticipating our needs before we even asked. Whether it was arranging transport, customizing meals, or simply checking in on how we were enjoying our stay they made us feel like VIPs. It was truly one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. We’re already planning our return. Highly, highly recommended!

Kamandalu is the best villa we have ever stayed in Ubud. The villa is gorgeous and beautiful, and the staff there are so welcoming and friendly. I would especially give my big thanks to lady Sukma who works at the front desk. She helped me a lot in printing my document for work and she also tried very hard to take photos of the document! I really appreciate her assistance so much🙏 The restaurant is wonderful as well. The food there is so delicious that I can go there everyday😀 Ketu the chef is great and so are other staff working there! You could see their lovely smiles while working almost all the time! The spa of Kamandalu is also good and we enjoyed the massage treatments very much. The therapists are both so experienced and skillful. We really enjoyed the time we spent in Kamandalu and it is indeed a five-star villa estate that you will not regret to visit and stay.

We spent unforgettable days at the hotel. The real luxury, authentic Balinese experience. I can only talk about the hotel in superlatives. Simply wonderful. Excellent experiences and services from arrival to departure. Fantastic location. The villa where we stayed provided the state of the art hotel room experience. The entire area of the hotel is located in a wonderful garden on a huge area. The beach and sunsets are beautiful. There are plenty of opportunities to relax, and it takes many days to get to know all the details of the hotel. Everything is well maintained and clean, including gardens, pools, rooms, restaurants. The breakfast is extremely varied, fresh, the selection meets all needs. The staff is very kind and guest oriented. All facilities are well maintained. I highly recommend the hotel.

Bali has changed for the worse since we where there last (...

Bali has changed for the worse since we where there last (before Covid). It is no longer the "awesome value" holiday destination. Most (probably all) the accommodation and eateries are owned by ex-pat Aussies and, as a consequence, the prices you pay for eating out and accommodation are "Melbourne" prices - eg. Spice Mantra entrees are around AU$16 plus about 20% in additional taxes. Maybe the business owners are trying to make up for what they lost during Covid??? I think that is why other holiday destinations (such as Vietnam) are becoming more popular.

Uluwatu is awesome but very busy now compared to other years. We loved the location of our villa, very central yet so quiet for how busy it is in Padang Padang. Easy to get around. Villa was beautiful we didn't want to leave! Could have done with a tv for quiet night in that's about it. The ladies at the office are lovely but quite pushy with payments when you book things and communication sometimes a bit mixed up. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay :)

The area had everything a traveller to Bali required. The footpaths could do with some repair but the streets and surrounds to reasonably clean. We visited several bars and eateries and none disappointed although the "Steak Project" was a bit on the expensive side. Plenty of shopping areas and spas for a massage or three.
