One of the best city hotels I've stayed in. Very central location, spacious and fully equipped rooms, very decent breakfast. The staff were very friendly and super efficient. Had my flight to Budapest delayed for 15 hours due to adverse weather conditions. Despite a very short notice the hotel agreed to change the check in date (the rate I chose didn't allow the changes though). Highly recommended!

This was a brilliant, flawless stay for us at Verno. The rooms are generous, the bed is very comfortable, the staff are very accommodating and helpful. Plus location is absolutely perfect, close to tourist sites without being stuck in them.

    This place is heaven! The atmosphere is calming and absolutely fantastic, everything was beautiful.. The room was clean, smelled of freshly washed linen, cozy, comfortable and big enough for 3 people. The food was delicious, the staff was so polite and helpful. We stayed for 2 nights, but to be fair, we didn't want to leave. We'll definitely go back again and I highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

    We had a great stay. We chose this place because of the on-site restaurant availability, as we were planning on arriving late. The dinner was great, and so was breakfast. The hotel has a great vibe. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the spa during our short stay. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were great. They even prepared a baby bath tub, in addition to the cot for our son.

    We stayed for 4 days and it was my fifth visit and I still haven’t seen all the sights. I found it very expensive to eat out and buy souvenirs this time. Not sure how the locals survive. Budapest is a beautiful city although is looking a little rundown compared to its close neighbour Vienna. Many buildings are dirty and need restoration and cleaning to highlight how wonderful they truly are. We had a walking tour and walked around ourselves. The trams are cheap and easy to navigate.

    Its a nice quite place.

    Its a nice quite place. Little bit away from the bus connections that's good if you want peace and quite. Good to spent night to catch a flight next day. It will be great if a shuttle service available to and from airport. Taxi normally cost 10 Euros each way. For amenities there is a small shop nearby and you can get to LIDL, Tesco etc. by 15mins walk. There was a local bakery on the main road which has bake fresh breads and coffee.

    LOT'S OF HISTORICAL PLACES. DYNAMITE. THE SIGHTSEEING BUS WHAT A GREAT IDEA, HOWEVER ONLY RUNS ON WEEKENDS. THE REST OF THE WEEK IS JUST PARKED AT A PARKING LOT. WHAT A WASTE. DURING THE WEEK, MAY NOT HAVE THAT MANY PEOPLE, BUT THEY COULD HAVE RUN IT AT LEAST 2 TIMES A DAY. ONE AT MIDDAY, ONE AT IN THE AFTERNOON. THE TOWN SHOULD HAVE A OPEN AIR SHUTTLE BUS FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE. NOT EVERYONE CAN WALK FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER. NICE PLACE , GOOD WIBE.

    Such a pretty little town especially if the weather is good. We went out of season (April) so a lot of places weren't open but we were able to find a choice of restaurants for our evening meal. We were only there for 24 hours so didn't have time to visit the various museums so perhaps a couple of days would have been better. Only downside was the heaps of tourists/tour groups. I imagine in the summer it would be heaving with people so I was glad we went when we did.

    Fantastic host !!!! Very friendly and helpful the will be there any time when you need, sorted all your problems!!! We have everything what we needed. Step to step instructions where we can go what please to see, we don't have to worry about anything everything will be sorted 😊 haus looks more beautiful not on the pictures!! Very comfortable bed bedding smells so freshly washed,loved that smell 🥰 Sparkly clean haus!! Haus have everything what you needed , and everything what you needed for barbecue. I'm haigh recommended that place !!!!! If someone wants to go to Budapest I haigh recommended you stay in there, that haus 8 kilometres outside of Budapest that no problem at all taxi 24/7 But you can relax and enjoy peace and quiet 🥰 300m from the haus restaurant food bar, and very friendly staff 😋 some day we definitely will going back 😊 haigh recommended!!!

    Small and nice city. Sure, one day is completely enough there but you can use this place to explore the area around incl. Esztergom, Visegrad and even a day trip to Budapest by ferry is possible. Enough restaurant options for some days.

    An outstanding city with much to see and do, so many places to visit and enjoy, most if not all can be access vis local transport such as metro at time of writing 01/09/25 a single metro was 500 HF about £2.19. Bus from airport to city was quick 10E and cost 2.400 HF about £5 a person . Things to be aware of some locations have a service charge included in the bill. Some may ask if you wish to give X precent. One major change for me was the amount of places including metro and Bus requirements to buy tickets using debit cards, it appears a lot of place will take card or cash but you will be asked card or cash Be aware of this on Banking fees Ive seen ppl use Wise cards oe Post office Travel card to save on fees.

    A big shopping mall is walkable from the hotel if you need to buy anything. It's a cinch for anyone who travels by air and has to walk all those concourses and gates. The hotel restaurant menu is quite good. The Superfood Salad is amazing. The airport shuttle is so convenient and quick.
