The service was very good. The employees are very cultured and very understanding. The hotel is very nice in a good location, 5 minutes from the promenade by the sea. The interior is made as historical, which makes you feel as if you are in the past. We were very surprised at how much choice of food there was for breakfast and dinner, which was very tasty. We would go to the same place again.

    Hotel has only official stars but the treatment I got It felt like a five star hotel. I reserved this hotel to stay for my last night after krk camino trail.Location is perfect,5 minutes walk to Krk old town.They were so kind and nice that they let me park my car there for free-cant thank them enough for that knowing your car is safe.Room was clean,bed was super comfortable and having room with sea view from 5 floor that is just priceless.To fall asleep hearing sea waves it doesn't get better than this.I opted for dinner and breakfast and I must say it was one of my most choices as they provide really good meals,and at dinner you can drink self serving drinks including wine.If I could change something I would book them for one more night,the night before my camino hike as it is easier to start if you have full stomach and good night rest.Thank you again for your hospitality and I will visit you again.

    From the moment I stepped into this hotel it was magic! The decoration, the friendly staff, impeccably comfortable rooms and decor, the friendly smiling staff, the spa, the location. The manager Ilija made sure we were taking care off. The lady running the spa Svjetlana is great! I recommend you check it out and book a massage with her. This was a wonderful experience and we are sure to come back! :-)

    I couldn’t find much information on Opatija before visiting.

    I couldn’t find much information on Opatija before visiting. As we arrived, driving the stunning coastal road from Pula, we could see that this is a beautiful stretch of coast. Hotel Milenij, where we stayed. Is located in the old part of Opatija, right by the sea; and there is quite a lot of public beach (concrete bathing areas, but great for swimming) and it is nice that everyone can use this and there is no charge. The view from Opatija is out to islands and around the curve of the bay, with mountains in the background - it is very pretty. In Opatija (around the old town, anyway), people dress up in the evening and there is a great buzz on summer evenings. There are plenty of good restaurants, some right by the sea. We didn’t get to do a boat trip to the nearby islands, but I would have liked to. There are lots of boat trips available and you can book them at the sea front. It looks like Opatija now stretches much further along the coast - this is great in that there is a 12km long lungomare for seaside walks. However, I am glad we stayed in the old part of Opatija to enjoy the town and its buzz as well as a very nice hotel with a pool and access to the sea.

    Our general impression was that Rijeka is not ready to be considered a tourist destination - finding parking was difficult, which shouldn't be the case for a 300k population city, there are few things to actually see around town, the beaches were meh, and so on. I'm not returning. Rijeka is beautiful, but nothing too special.

    Crikvenica is the biggest beach resort town in the Kvarner region, with a choice of pebble, sandy or concrete beaches. There are a lot of facilities along the beaches - bars, restaurants, child amusement etc. There is also a problem - the city is overcrowded in the summer. A dense traffic, lack of space on the beaches, lack of parking spaces. This is the closest coastal city to Zagreb and many other cities in the northern Croatia, so there are obviously a lot of one day visitors.

    Malinska presents a different atmosphere compared to other cities like Zadar, Pula, or Rovinj. It feels very human-sized and pleasant, not crowded at all. It's worth noting that most beaches are urban and have concrete surfaces, with few offering a gradual entry into the water. However, the rocky, cove beaches are beautiful and practical.

    Stone beach with calm, crystal and warm water. Very good for children. It was really crowded at the end of August, so I advise to arrive early in the beach otherwise you won't find a spot. There is no sunshade or chairs available to rent. The restaurants only offer local warm beers. Horrible! Local wines are very good.

    Stayed in the old town which is a gem of a place, on a peninsula with lovely winding alleyways and churches. So well maintained and clean. No litter or graffiti and everything picture perfect! And there were good places to swim on small beaches below the bell towers. There was also a large sandy bay about 10 mins walk outside the old town near the Valamar hotel. We ate at the beachside bar on the seaside promenade in the old town ( at the bottom of the cliff), they did great veggie food and other options.     Selce is a beautiful, picturesque little town that offers everything you need for a perfect family vacation. There are comfortable beaches, excellent food, great ice cream, and a pleasant evening atmosphere. For those looking for a more vibrant or lively nightlife, the nearby town of Crikvenica is just a longer walk or short drive away. Another great advantage of Selce is its location — it’s close to other interesting destinations, such as the town of Krk on the island of Krk. You can also take boat trips directly from Selce, which is a great option for families with children. A unique benefit of Selce is that it’s naturally sheltered by the island of Krk from the open sea, which means there are no large waves — making the swimming experience safer and more enjoyable, especially for kids.

    The city/village is lovely.

    The city/village is lovely. The beach area is quite clean and family-friendly. It has a small playground for children, which is a lifesaver in the hot afternoons. The restaurants are also ok: a must-try are the Bistro Pizzeria Vista and the Konoba "Nora".

    The city looks nice and there are many options to eat and have drinks. The beaches are beautiful and they are easily reachable on foot and with bikes that you can rent in the city. The Museum of Apoxyomenos was awesome! Worth every penny! All in all it was nice there, but the prices of drinks at cafes and bars are outrageous. We payed 7 euros for a beer at one place which was really shocking.
