I have just had a very restful and relaxing 5 night stay at Marina Beach. Perfect in every way. Picked up by Despoina from the Port and returned by Antonis after allowing me late afternoon check out because of my ongoing ferry timetable. What a godsend, the kind of gesture that makes all the difference when you're travelling. Although my room No.1 was on the ground floor, I still had a lovely seaview from my terrace. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely hosts who were very approachable. Despoina and Antonis went out of their way to ensure my stay with them was a pleasant one. Efcharistó 😊 The location affords peace and quiet, and it only takes about 20 minutes to walk along the seafront from Marina Beach to the town of Livadia. There is a tiny beach nearby, but if you walk along to Faros Taverna, there are free sunbeds on a lovely wee beach, and you can enjoy lunch by the sea, in an idyllic Greek setting.
Nicholas is a wonderful host who takes care of his guests from the moment they set foot on Tilos - he waited for us at the port and finally took us to the ferry even though it was the middle of the night. He got the local bus timetable before the council could even publish it, monitored changes in ferry schedule and informed us about them.
The hotel is on the outskirts of Livadia, in a quiet location, 7 minutes walk to the sea and the center of Livadia. The room is spacious, well-equipped and cleaned every day and the balcony overlooks the bay. I would highly recommend !
Boutique Hotel Tilos Mare is a true gem. The location is perfect to explore Livadia, and the facilities are really comfortable (great beds & pillows, perfect swimming pool - this very aesthetic too!). The best is then the staff: extremely helpful, kind and really really really warm!

The owner was very kind, arranging for us to be picked up from the port and returned to the port at the end of our stay. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.Having a cooked breakfast every other day was a great bonus.The swimming pool was great with a lot of sun beds .
Amazing location with very nice people at check in and throughout the stay with the cleaning lady every morning.
Very nice attentions with welcome gifts and check out gifts.
The view is breathtaking in a quiet area.

The location (including a beautiful tiny "private" beach) is breathtaking. Maria is extremely nice, always present without being intrusive. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and well equipped. A great place. We will be back.

A beautiful location - views are excellent. Quite a lot of steps to negotiate but worth the effort. Accommodation was very comfortable and staff friendly and helpful.

Lovely location, quiet and not crowded but with enough people bars and restaurants to meet our needs. Locals very friendly, a lovely village feel. Livadia beach lovely and clean, great access to the sea, free sunbeds if you use the bars/ restaurants behind. Great place, definitely going again next year.

We had a great time from Milios.
We had a great time from Milios. Familiar and well-kept atmosphere in Melago Chorio. Nice view of the sea and the mountains from the large terrace. A beautiful garden full of plants and flowers. Very kind host, he welcomed us and accompanied us to the boat. Market in front of the house and next to the Palio Meraki Café Ouzeri Restaurant with terrace on Tilos! I highly recommend.

It's an attractive village with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. Don't expect a lot of sophisticated shopping though. There are a few shops for ladies' clothes but men seemed to have been forgotten. I couldn't even find a t-shirt! Even in September it was necessary to book a table in the restaurants up to to two days before, which was a big surprise. The beach is pebbly and, although the water is clean and warm, it's difficult to get in, even with beach shoes because of the uneven surface and loose pebbles. There is a good bus service to other parts of the island but the buses can get crowded so get to the bus stop in good time. We did enjoy our stay. We didn't do as much walking as we would usually do however because it was just too hot at between 34 and 36 degrees.

Tilos is a jewel of an island.
Tilos is a jewel of an island. Livadia was better than we expected with a great mix of tavernas both in the village square and along the paved waterfront. Something to suit everyone. The local bus is regular and on time and well worth a trip to visit other areas of Tilos.
