- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 96 reviewsThe hotel is positioned in one of the best location points of Oia. It has an amazing view on the Caldera and each suite has its own view and terrace. My husband and I have spent a whole week, to celebrate my birthday: in the first 5 days we have been given a suite called "Athena" (all suites have been named after ancient greek gods or goddes) which had an amazing balcony and a hot tub. The view was unbelievable. The last 3 days we have been upgraded to a pool villa called "the white house" which was absolutely stunning, with a big terrace with a table and an hammock overlooking the caldera and a private pool with warm water. As the room, the terrace and the pool were so beautiful, we basically spent the last two days there! The restaurant of Andronis is positioned on the top of a rock which provides a unique location to have breakfast or dine with a full view of the caldera. The breakfast menu is very rich and provides a big variety of choices, and is well served both at the table in the restaurant terrace or, as we have tried some times, in your suite outdoor table. As well the hotel pool is nice and relaxing with enough space to host all the residents. The entire Andronis staff, nobody excluded, from reception to restaurant, to bar, to houskeeping, has been professional, kind, always available: the system of making any request via whatsapp simplified a lot all the organization of our stay, suggesting us the different options of possible activities, making bookings, suggesting the best restaurants where to dine and managing all the reservations taking care we always had the best table! The morning of my birthday I have also got a nice (and super-good) birthday cake!!! I will keep Santorini, Oia and the Andronis as one of the best memories of my life.Guest review byIlariaItaly
- From US$271.85 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 291 reviewsThe location of the hotel with a view of the Caldera is extremely excellent. Picturesque and amazing views from the rooms! Responsive, polite, attentive excellent staff, both at the reception, and in the restaurant and throughout the hotel. They meet with a smile and offer cool drinks to quench their thirst. They help in solving any issues. The rooms are spacious, bright and clean. The bathrooms are clean and have very nice and high-quality hygiene and body care products! Breakfasts are very tasty and filling! Thank the chef! Also, all hotel guests receive a compliment from the hotel (delicious drinks). There is an opportunity to order a dinner, and even a romantic one, in the room or on the terrace of the new restaurant with beautiful views of the sea, the island itself and the volcano, watching the incredible colors of the sunset! Thank you to the hotel administration and staff for their professionalism and comfort, courtesy and good attitude!Guest review byNataliiaUkraine
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 341 reviewsFrom the moment we arrived we were made feel so welcomed. All of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The weather wasn't great so the staff helped us fill our days with with recommendations and they didn't dissappoint. We got to do so many things and see so much of the Island. The hotel was beautiful with beautiful views. A short walk to the center . Our room was facing the volcanos and was very peaceful.Guest review byAlanIreland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 241 reviewsThe best sunset view in Santorni and the suites are really amazing and quiet, excepcional for couples and with a worldclass restaurant. The hotel team and its general manager require a separate mention, they are exceptional as hosts, they were kind, warm and concerned about us all the time, the best thing about the hotel. Special thanks to the Spanish-speaking team: Marina, Tamara, Antonella and also of course Mr. Manos.Guest review byErickChile

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 146 reviewsKivotos Santorini is simply breathtaking — a sanctuary of style and serenity perched above the caldera. The architecture is striking, the interiors are beautifully curated, and the service is flawless. Waking up to those volcanic views felt surreal, and every moment was infused with peace, privacy, and understated luxury. It’s more than a stay — it’s an experience we’ll never forget.Guest review byConstantinaCyprus

The staff are very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed during our time in Santorini. Our room was clean, unique and comfortable. The "hot tub" was great to have after a day of adventures, to relax and have a cold beer in. Breakfast was delivered to our room daily and had a great selection to choose from.Guest review byChristopherRomania

We spent two weeks on the island in Fira, We stayed one week on the east side and one week on the west side. The east side of the island is quieter. You need to walk to shops and restaurants - uphill, so lots of cardio! We stayed at Hill Suites. A lovely, relaxing and private accommodation with a perfect lanai breakfast every morning. Thomas, the manager was an excellent host! The second week we spent on the caldera side. Very busy!!!! Shops and restaurants surround you. No cars here. Streets are lovely, narrow, winding paths leading you from one surprise to another. Everywhere the views are stunning! The best resource on the island is the bus terminal located in Fira. This terminal is a hub and spoke terminal. All buses leave and return to this terminal each trip. You can go anywhere for 2 euros one way. An excellent way to see the island! The buses run frequently so if you miss one, don't worry there will be another shortly. They also service the airport! Across the street from the bus depot is the Museum. A must see after you have visited the excavations at Akrotiri at the south end of the island. Really, find yourself a spot to sit and enjoy a beverage while taking in the view and watching the activities around you. Remember to breathe. Relax. Enjoy.Guest review byKathrynCanada - 10.0

On arrival it is confusing - hotel is built on upper slopes of caldera, so it has different levels. On the plus side as soon as you leave the hotel you are on the famous Fira/Oia walk - turn right for Fira. You are on the highest part of the caldera so initially it is downhill, also you are close to Skaros rock which is worth visiting for the views and has a church partially hidden on the seaward side at a slightly lower elevation. As long as you can look to the sea you will have great sunset views wherever you are,my hotel patio was great for this.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely village but getting very busy.
Lovely village but getting very busy. Restaurants were excellent and staff in them very polite and attentive. Greece is not cheap these days so you have to pay the same as in UK for meals etc. Wine is very expensive but nice to see that they only sell Greek wine in supermarkets and restaurants.Guest review byElaineUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Liked that it was away from Fira. Fira so crowded.
Liked that it was away from Fira. Fira so crowded. One day 6 cruise ships in Port. We ate 2 nights at Romantica taverna. Traditional Greek restaurant, good food and happy staff. Easy to walk around in you don't mind stairs and uphill. Walk from Fira to Oia 10km, something to do and overview of area.Guest review bySusanAustralia - 10.0

Bus companies were well organised, despite chaotic appearance. Used bus from airport, back from Oia, return trip to Akrotiri and to access the port. Drivers were very skilful. Beautiful location. Excellent dining in main street.Guest review byMarciaAustralia - 10.0

Everything in Oia is great - it’s so beautiful that not even the crowds are a problem! There are so many wonderful cafes and restaurants that you’re spoilt for choice. Definitely recommend one of the sunset cruises and also touring the wineries and archeological centre in Akrotiri.Guest review byannamariaAustralia - 10.0
Glad I booked Imerovigli over Oia or Fira.
Glad I booked Imerovigli over Oia or Fira. It was quieter, more affordable, has amazing views and walking distance to great restaurants. We ate at the White Lounge and La Moustache which were both fantastic. Also easily accessible from the road without too many steps. Highly recommend!Guest review byNickyBAustralia - 10.0
Akrotiri is a beautiful town.
Akrotiri is a beautiful town. I definitely recommend visiting the Akrotiri archaeological site, but the entrance fee of 20 euros is honestly way too expensive. The White Beach and Red Beach are nice, but not really our thing because they’re overcrowded. We preferred finding some quieter beaches insteadGuest review byMilosCzech Republic - 8.0
Firostefani was a good choice of Santorini location for me.
Firostefani was a good choice of Santorini location for me. Even at the end of the season, the main town of Fira was overcrowded with cruise ship visitors every day, and had some very high prices in the shops and restaurants. Firostefani is only a mile from Fira centre with good communications but is less crowded and (slightly) less expensive. There are plenty of restaurants in Firostefani, the two I liked best were Onar and Aktaion. Also there was a good, reasonably priced take-away called Why Not. Firostefani (and many areas of Santorini) has small mini-markets but no good supermarket. Anyone self-catering would find food shopping expensive and with limited choices. My hotel (Villa Ilias) like many others in Firostefani had spectacular views over the caldera.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom
