We loved the view - we had to climb stairs to get there but it was worth it. The room was super clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us insider tips to visit special locations. We loved our stay and would recommend it We loved the ambience and felt it was typical Ikarian.

We enjoyed everything : the kindness of our hosts, the location, the residence is awesome! We stayed in a wonderful suite, made with good taste (beautiful wood furniture for example) and the terrace was very pleasant. We had all the attention and some good advice for the local restaurants and feasts (panigiri) from our hosts. We, as a family of 5 with 3 young kids, highly recommend this accommodation. All the best for Erifi !

Lovely apartment with all you need for a very comfortable stay. Some lovely extras included. Thankyou to the hosts who are really making an effort to provide a point of difference. Some food and drinks much appreciated. Bed very comfortable. Be prepared if walking from port for a bit of a climb, maybe a taxi? Highly reccomend

The apartment had a big bathroom amazing bed and incredible views. We cooked meals in the kitchen everyday and the washing machine was a bonus when travelling for 6 weeks. Stella was very friendly and helpful. This is a very hilly area so be prepared for some steep uphill walks.

    My husband and I stayed in a large unit (Eliana I think) with a separate bedroom and large living area with full kitchen. Which was extremely helpful as my husband had to work odd hours remotely and there was plenty of room so I wasn't woken. Our two children stayed in a smaller villa, which backed onto ours, (no internal access, it is rented separately). They had combined kitchen bedroom room, and separate bathroom. Daughter slept in the large bed, son was very comfortable on the roomy couch bed. The units were indeed airy. They were calm clean and I felt very very relaxed there. It was easy living. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Bathrooms lovely. Everything was so clean. Kitchens were well kitted out, full stove and fridge. We enjoyed walking down to Christos Raches in the mornings and evenings. I have had some lovely experiences and met some lovely people while staying in Ikaria, but for blissful physical comfort this was my favourite accommodation. Thank you.

    Maria our host was excellent. She was really friend ly & helpful trying to find out about the bus to Evdilos. When we couldn't clarify with anyone in town, she booked us a taxi. She very nicely gave us some tips about tides and pitfalls in Mykonos the next leg of our tour. The shower was excellent. Some extra folding furniture provided to enable you to eat in your room/ on the balcony & dry swimwear.

    Our stay was too good to be true. The spacious room with access to the shore was amazing. The pool area was very pretty and the breakfast outstanding. We stayed only for 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Manager was very friendly and the rest off the staff as well. All requests were answered with a smile. Top class.

    The area is peaceful and tranquil. perfect if you just want to be away and enjoy some relaxation. There is a bus connection with the bigger area for the nightlife, the port for connections with Athens or with the Fourni islands and just for some food/leisure.

    A small village at the northwestern part of the island.

    A small village at the northwestern part of the island. It's definitely nice for a couple of days but after that there's nothing much to do there. Good location though if you're planning to explore the inner part of the island and the Raches villages.

    Evdhilos is a nice small town.

    Evdhilos is a nice small town. It offers some basic facilities: some restaurants, cafés and minimarkets. There are also several (4?) car rentals. Being on an island with few inhabitants and not too much tourism, it of course does not have the same facilities as some other places.

    We loved our stay in Raches...the village was very friendly.

    We loved our stay in Raches...the village was very friendly...excellent food at both restaurants...all the locals were very friendly...we had coffee in the square each morning...got bread from the baker straight out of the oven. There was plenty to do in the area...we visited a beautiful old church and also drove to the beach for a lovely afternoon

    Traditional Greek environment.

    Traditional Greek environment. A few cute restraunts and cafes. Cute beaches and adorable little port great from snorkeling. There is a boat that takes you to Agia Kyrikos a few times per week and another for Seychelles beach daily.

    Fanari is 15 minutes from the main port of Agios Kirykos and has lovely beach called Faros with some charming tavernas and a cafe right on the beach . The views of the sea and neighbouring islands are lovely and the beach is calm and cool .

    This is the quieter, south side of the island close to...

    This is the quieter, south side of the island close to Therma which is a must visit especially to make the hike to the antique Roman hot bath AND further to the secluded natural hot spring which is a wonderful find. The main beach has the hot spring everyone goes to which is nice but we love the beautiful hike overlooking Therma then finding the other hot spring! This port area has beautiful beaches to swim and snorkel...make sure to take watershoes to walk on uneven pebbles. The main square offer restaurants, bakeries, and cafes. It's a good home base to go see Seychelles beach (wow), and other coastal villages on that side of the island. You must rent a car and ask for air conditioning if it's July-August!

    Armenistis is a lovely place to stay but if you want to see the best parts of the island you really need a car. I didn't have one and felt that I didn't see more than the beach. The seasonal bus had stopped running so I wasn't able to go very far which was quite frustrating. The fresh water terrapins in the lagoons at the back of the beaches are very special.
