- From US$554.82 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 837 reviewsWe loved this oasis of a hotel. The staff was incredibly nice, friendly and made us feel welcome from the very beginning of our stay. Nothing was an issue for them and they had great recommendations for what to see on the island. This resort, however, is that kind of place where you will want to spend the majority of your stay at Kos. The beach was splendid, with great views, clean water and sand, and very comfy beach loungers. The walk to the beach through the sand dunes was a bliss on its own. The pool was also very nice, clean and comfy and when it was a little windy (mind you, it was the end of October), the pool offered a cozy alternative to the beach. The room itself is beautifully designed, the beds are comfy, and there all the amenities you may need. We really enjoyed the outside area of our room/bungalow with lots of options to sit, lay, chill, do yoga. One could also take a quick dip in the shared pool. There were days where we left the room only to go to eat something because we didn't feel like leaving this home away from home. Food options were solid. Breakfast was truly amazing, featuring local and fresh produce. The other food options were also yummy, albeit a little expensive. Last but not least, we found it really lovely that the hotel organized all sorts of cozy and laid back events, such as movie nights, free yoga classes and more. We will definitely come back.Guest review byMatějCzech Republic
- From US$1,047.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 519 reviewsAbsolutely Unforgettable Stay – Pure Perfection! From the moment we arrived at Cavo Tagoo Mykonos, we were swept away by the beauty, luxury, and attention to detail that defines this incredible hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the heart of Mykonos Town, yet tucked away enough to feel serene and private, with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Our room was nothing short of spectacular—elegantly designed with a modern, minimalist aesthetic that perfectly complemented the natural surroundings. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, and waking up to the view from our balcony was like a dream. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and the private pool added an extra layer of indulgence. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the amazing staff. From the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team, everyone we encountered was warm, professional, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality felt genuine, and their recommendations made our experience in Mykonos even better. Cavo Tagoo is more than just a luxury hotel—it's an experience. If you're looking for a place that combines style, comfort, and exceptional service, look no further. We can’t wait to return!Guest review byZabrodinIsrael

The town is crazy busy with people & vehicles.
The town is crazy busy with people & vehicles. We were surprised with the huge amount of tagging and the amount of trash lying about We loved the little hotel we stayed at - Hotel Chania - and the old town waterfront for meals, walks and socislising. The hop on hop off bus was handy to get around parts of Chania and Souda Bay.Guest review byAnnetteNew Zealand - 8.0
Great island.
Great island. Beautiful and great for clubs and beach walking. However. Very expensive and the drivers charge either 40 or 50 euros even if you go 1 mile. Basically fixed fee. No other options. They will squeeze your budget there. Kind of an indirect tourist fee. But the people are very nice and all speak great English. But it’s a money pit. Be careful.Guest review byHamidUnited States - 2.0
Noisy dirty and totally tourist trap.
Noisy dirty and totally tourist trap. What used to be a charming and cultural rich town has sold its soul to mass tourism. There is rubbish everywhere, plenty of shops that ONLY sell touristic items. There’s nothing authentic left here. Even restaurants are horrible and serve mediocre food. Compared to the rest of the island this place is not worth not even 10 minutes of your time.Guest review byAlessandraItaly - 10.0

It's an amazing trip experience that combines both the sea side stuff and the full comfort of a city. You can find small beaches along the shore, and a large embankment right across the venetian port that is perfect for evening walks (it has approx.. 2,4 km in length). There are also a lot of restaurants and bars you can hop into. I would dearly recommend Peskesi, Petousis, Sir Papafigos, Parasties for food, Take five or Toucan Skybar for drinks, but there are a lot more that are waiting to be discovered. Also the museums are a must, and of course the nearby site of Knossos. Another close by attraction you shouldn't miss is the Cretaquarium.Guest review byConstantinRomania - 10.0

Fira is a great place to stay in Santorini if you don’t have a car and it’s very central. From Fira you can get the local buses at a very cheap price to move around the Island and go to Oia and the beaches, it also has a cable car that you can go with it down to the old port of Fira. Fira has lots of shops, cafes and restaurants and great views with beautiful sunset. Hotels are more affordable to get than Oia.Guest review byReyhanehUganda - 10.0
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site.
Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.Guest review byBandeleUnited Kingdom - 6.0

My evaluation is strongly influenced by the period when we visited the island – August. Therefore, I do not recommend visiting the island in August, as it is extremely overcrowded. Also, the steep streets and narrow access alleys become even more difficult to navigate during this time of year, and you will need to fully rely on your driving skills, often pushing your car to its limits. We missed some of the island’s attractions because of these inconveniences. That being said, the island has many beautiful places to see and experience – beaches, breathtaking views, tavernas, welcoming people, and much more. I recommend visiting the island in September, ideally for 5–10 days, and exploring the most popular places early in the morning. This way, you will get the best of what the island has to offer.Guest review bySebastianRomania - 10.0

Best place to stay when in Crete if you are looking for a mix of relaxation at the beach and exploring the island. Great sandy beaches, cool beach bars, beautiful old town filled with vibrant clubs and restaurants. The town is ideally placed so that you can rent a car, pay for an excursion or even use public transport (which is beautufly organised) to explore wild beaches but Chania and Heraklion as well.Guest review byMiljanSerbia - 10.0

The most outstanding experience of Kos town was the people. Everywhere we went we met kind, friendly and generous people.
