A perfect place! The service was truly exceptional – especially thanks to Louise, Angela, and Despina at the reception, along with Danny the manager. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, taking care of every little detail to ensure our stay was absolutely perfect. The place itself is truly special – peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking views in every direction. Everything was extremely clean and well-maintained, from the rooms to the shared areas. There was a warm, personal, and family-like atmosphere, and every request was met quickly and with a smile. We loved everything!!! Especially the comfortable bed, clean room, the breakfast was amazing!! The view from the room and the pools was stunning!! The team was nice and friendly!! Amazing hotel. The beach below the hotel was nice. The spa and the gym were nice. Definitely will return. The treatment of massage by Maria was amazing, the best I had.

This is the second time we have stayed at Naiades Marina Hotel. This time it was our wending anniversary so we went for a room with a SPA. The SPA was positioned on a private balcony and was ideal. Monique was very helpful helping sort out some flowers and the other decorations they provided in the room were really good.

Elounda is a good place to stay for late summer sun if you're from the UK or northern Europe. Its a busy town with many food / bar options. The bus service is great for exploring the local area. There are a lot of walking options - and sea activities.

The perfect place for peaceful vacation.

The perfect place for peaceful vacation. The city itself is nice but not something extraordinary, but you get the best food in Greece alongside the best beaches in the World! Try Psarropoula, Kakkos and all other beaches in Ferma area. Make beautiful trips to Chryssi Island or Agios Nikolaos (30min), Siteia (45min), Vai, Oropedio Lasithiou etc.

Visited at the beginning of October and a lot of places beginning to close for the season. Town quiet but pleasant. Unfortunately the ferry to Agios Nikolaos does not run anymore so it’s a long drive if you want to visit

Myrtos is a busy little town with parking just on the outskirts. Interesting streets with lots of shops and cafes, so good to walk around and explore. Beach front cafes to sit and watch the world go by. Choice of many tavernas for food and drink.

Probably one of the nicest place in Crete.

Probably one of the nicest place in Crete. In the south-east this small village with harbor and several taverns direct on the sea, which serve excellent food at a reasonable price has no overtourism until now. At the beautiful 3 km sandy beach, many very nice private App direct on the beach or above the harbor in the old town offer perfect locations to stay. Only at the end of the sandy beach away from the rest of accommodations a hotel complex offers an all inclusive stay.

The local restaurants are excellent.

The local restaurants are excellent. We particularly liked the 'Natural foods' one at the turn off for Mocholos, about 4 km from the village. This is a classic family run taverna. However, those in the village were almost as good. In October the place is still lively and pleasant.

Tiny village with a great atmosphere.

Tiny village with a great atmosphere. We attended to a traditional event, with cretese music and dances, and in the area you can find very interesting historical sites. The beaches are very close and nice (the coast is facing east, so there are no waves in case the strong wind is blowing). Our favourite beaches have been Kouremenos for windsurfing and Itanos/Paralia for swimming. The best restaurants we tried are Mythos in the village centre and Elia in the close village of Agathias that you can reach on foot in ten minutes. Pharmacy, restaurants, shops, markets. Here you can find all you need for a perfect stay!

Big sandy beaches. Good tavernas, we liked MeRaki. Istron is a "strip" of a village running along a main road. There are apartments and hotels up the hillside from the road, with not too much road noise. When rough you can hear the sea from your apartment. Apart from the beaches and eating places there is probably not too much else to do.

Largely a number of tavernas and rent rooms behind a mixed shingle / sand beach. It is quiet, as it is quite small, but this is because it is at the end of the paved road and due to government restrictions on development (to protect the Minoan palace site). So, if you want a quiet, relatively undeveloped location right on the beach, but with the benefit of a number of different tavernas to choose from and accommodation nearby, this is it. It is an excellent base for exploring the local area, especially if you like walking and/or historic sites.
