Malvasia is in a hystoric and mystical place. Hotel is placed in a main street. Sea view is excelent. Furniture remainds me on grandmothers rustic house with cascets and benches decorated in a Balcan style Ladies at the reception where kind, hepfull, alwaus at your request (even carred one of our suitcasess when she saw at the check in, how tiered we were). We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Elea Mare Hotel in Peloponnese, hosted by the wonderful Gregor, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. We spent five nights at this charming establishment and were absolutely delighted with every aspect of our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with incredible service that truly exemplified the essence of Greek hospitality at its finest. Gregor went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect, and his warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel like cherished guests throughout our visit. One of the most enchanting aspects of our stay was falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the waves just outside our window. Our spacious balcony offered a breathtaking seafront view that allowed us to feel the beauty of the Mediterranean in a truly unique way. Gregor surprised us with a local treat, tsipuro, and even provided us with instructions on how to enjoy it best, encouraging us to sip it while watching the mesmerizing full moon from our balcony—a moment we will forever treasure. The breakfasts at Elea Mare were a highlight of our mornings. Local products and delicious pies lovingly made by Gregor's mother, they were a delightful way to start the day. The breakfast terrace, with its understated jazz music playing softly in the background, created a special ambiance that set the tone for a wonderful day ahead. The beds at Elea Mare were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring that we had restful nights and woke up refreshed and ready to explore. And speaking of exploration, the hotel's location is ideal. Just a short three-minute walk took us to a nice beach, which we had almost entirely to ourselves due to the end of the season. This sense of seclusion and luxury was a true gift. Additionally, Elea Mare is conveniently situated near popular tourist destinations like Monemvasia and Elafonisos, making it the perfect base for day trips and adventures.

Wow! The room was spacious, delightful and very clean with it's medieval features but modern decor. The breakfast was so nice with lots of variety. The whole of the Monemvasia village was perfect and very picturesque. We tried out the fantastic restaurants and were delighted by the local cuisine and friendly, helpful service. The bars were also great and all had amazing outlooks! Walking around was like a dream and we even had a quick dip where you could access the sea. The local museum was wonderful too. We loved it all!

Location at foothill with on site parking. Property had a resort kind of layout with lots of space, garden, outdoor dining in warmer climate. There was even a swimming pool. We were given a little stand alone stone cottage by the sea. The views, atmosphere, howling wind and pounding sea added to make this stay EXCEPTIONAL. The service staff was kind enough to provide a kettle when requested. The breakfast spread was simple but lovingly prepared by the service staff. 5 star recommendation from me

The position of the hotel is great as it is located just before the bridge that leads to Monemvasia, so reaching it by foot doesn't take long. The hotel staff gave us a very spacious room with two balconies and sea view. The room was beautiful and very clean. The parking, if you travel by car, is just behind the hotel. Monemvasia is just a magical place to be.

Monemvasia is just a magical place to be. Take the time to explore it. Make sure you go up to the top of the rock, sunrise is the perfect time. And be sure to explore the town in the evening: there are fewer people around and it is very atmospheric. Food wise, Monemvasia is a bit limited for vegans, but we found places to eat.

Neapoli Voion has a little bit of everything.

Neapoli Voion has a little bit of everything. It has just the right amount of nightlife (dining and beverages) with plenty of places to try for a couple of weeks. Beaches inside Neapoli aren’t Greece travel-worthy, but within a few minutes, you can be at some very nice beaches that could compete with any of your favorite beaches. Come here to enjoy the culture, food, and small beach town life. Take day trips to the beautiful beaches between Neapoli and Elafonisos. Notable, and I hope I am not sharing the secret, but Maganos and Pounta have beautiful beaches. If you’re not aware, they close the main road from 9:00 PM to 1:30 AM every night to allow for free roam of the streets between the bridge and main restaurant areas, including the two playgrounds and basketball court. Kids can run around with very little fear of getting lost or into much trouble.

Peaceful place, small beach with clear waters, ideal place for relaxed vacations. Nice and reasonably priced food, a mini-market for some essential groceries is missing though, the closest is located in Demonia. A bit difficult to reach the area due to the country road network.

Monemvasia is a lovely village built at the base of an island reachable by a bridge. There are two great spots to swim on the island side of the bridge, on of which is quite sheltered by rocks so we were able to take a dip although the wind and waves were strong. The town at the base of the cliffs and the old site at the top are both charming and worth a visit. We were only there for a night but I could have stayed longer.
