Beautiful Boutique Hotel in a fabulous little town close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. We loved it. The only slight thing was it was just a bit tight for two suitcases in the room.

- much better than my expectations - excellent location (in a less busy neighbourhood but still in walkable distance from the main attractions) - plenty of public parking spaces outside the hotel, although they offer free private parking - spacious room with a balcony and a fantastic view (including those rooms on the side like mine) - really value for money (I do appreciate reasonable prices)

We stayed at Thalassa Hotel with my son for 7 days, and it was a truly wonderful experience! 💙💛 From the very first moment, we felt welcomed and cared for. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A very special thank you to the hotel manager, Panos, who was always there to assist and organize everything perfectly. What touched me most was that on the day of our departure, since we had a late flight, he kindly offered us to stay in our room until we left. I’ve never experienced such generosity in any other hotels we’ve stayed at before – usually, you always have to pay extra. This meant so much to us, thank you! I also want to thank the young man at reception: we arrived very late, and although the restaurant was already closed, he kindly walked us there so we could still have dinner. That was such a thoughtful gesture! All the staff were always smiling, warm, and happy to see us. The waitresses were lovely, so polite and welcoming. Unfortunately, I didn’t learn all their names, but I do remember Maryam, who was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious every day, our room was spacious with a beautiful view, and the surroundings of the hotel are simply breathtaking – such a peaceful and stunning location. This was our very first trip to Greece, and it left us with the warmest memories. We will definitely come back again – if not to this hotel, then certainly to Greece! 🇬🇷✨ 💯 I highly recommend Thalassa Hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable holiday! 🌸

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Amaryllis. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful our entire stay, the room and in general the facilities were spotless, very well cleaned and taken care of.     This is a large and spacious establishment, old-fashioned (in a good way). There is lots of wood in the construction of the building which has gardens and a pool area, with plenty of places to sit around inside or outside. The place is full of quirky artworks and decorations, it's like staying in an art gallery. The location is stunning, overlooking Lake Trichonida, the largest natural lake in Greece and "a hidden natural treasure" according to the guide books. There was a lot of wildlife around during our visit, swallows and butterflies in particular. The restaurant has a decent menu and decent prices, and everything is cooked fresh in the kitchen. Breakfast is prepared to order and served at the table. Staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable for what you get here.

    We loved it, the best choice we could have done for a 10-day trip to Greece in 7 people plus one dog. The Lady and her Daughter were so lovely, sincerely offered help when we were in need, good word and some fresh local food. Place itself perfect for relax and unwind. Many bars nearby (with great food and drinks), and a fantastic, not to crowdy beach too, all in distance +/- 10 minute by feet. Bungalows are well maintained and clean, we get fresh bedding and towels once in a few days. The area is peaceful and quiet, great for hanging out with friends and family, and yet houses are located not so close to each other (approximately few meters) that one neighbor can disturb another one. Great trip, highly recommend! Greetings from Poland!

    Amazing location! The infinity pool overlooking the sea and the island of Kastos is the best place to sit and relax your body & mind. The staff is welcoming and attentive to our every need. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and they offer a more private view of the sea and the surroundings. Just stay and watch the sunset, fill your life with color. I wish I could stay a lot more, it already feels like home. It’s the owners that make you feel treasured and heard. Thanks for everything

    The AC was on when we arrived from a long drive, so it was perfect for a power nap while kids went to the pool. The fact that you are overlooking the beautiful bay and enjoy the view while in the pool is perfect. Hosts were super nice and friendly! The bar between the two pools offer alll types of coffee, cold drinks and snacks. We will definitely come back, maybe to one of the villas that offer that one more level of privacy to the perfect location.

    It´s a beautiful city, at the Corintian Gulf.

    It´s a beautiful city, at the Corintian Gulf. You are in the middle of the old town of Lepanto, with the wall all around and the castle at the top. Worth while a stop to visit and an excellent place to visit Ancient Delphi, just one hour and a half. Dont´s miss Galaxidi on the way, to enjoy the beach.

    The stafff were excellent. They couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel was effectively in winter shutdown, so was not operating as a ‘luxury resort’. The hotel was next to a busy main road, in the industrial outskirts Agrinio. That said, it was pleasant and surprisingly quiet. The breakfast was very good.

    We had the most wonderful stay in beautiful Paleros. Although on the mainland it had a real small island charm to it. The people are so friendly and the pace of life is very relaxed. The food in the many restaurants was fantastic and very reasonably priced. We will definately be returning to this lovely place🙂

    AT A BARBEQUE (SOUVLAKI) SHOP CALLED "GYROFOLIA" THEY CHARGED ME 7 PIECES OF SOUVLAKI (7*1,90 EUROS) INSTEAD OF 5 PIECES OF SOUVLAKI I HAD ORDERED AND I HAD GOT. ALSO THE QUALITY OF FOOD WAS VERY BAD !!! THE SOUVLAKI ITEM WAS CONSISTED OF 10 PIECES, BUT MOST OF THEM WERE NOT MEAT BUT FAT . . . VERY BAD CHOICE OF MINE !!! THESE GUYS ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS . . . DO NOT CHOOSE THEM !!!

    We were out of season so it wasn't crowded. It appears to be an unadvertised gem of a place. We had a stunningly beautiful apartment for a week. Plenty of tavernas and stylish wine bars and cafes. Kinds of beaches to suit all tastes. You should go with a car to make the most of the surrounding area (visit the Koprena lighthouse and Koronisia). Wildlife wetlands close by (flamingos, pelicans, cormorants etc). The town itself is all contained in a very walkable area between a small fishing harbour and a barge wharf at the other end of the akti. Walk beyond the fishing harbour and marvel at the sedimentary rocks on the foreshore. Visit nearby Arta and its historic bridge - nice cafes by the river.

    Astakos is a lovely place, a bit hidden.

    Astakos is a lovely place, a bit hidden. Small village with friendly people, laid back country style architecture. People wave, nod their head, restaurants with basic good food, friendly service, local products. Bakery coffeeshop supermarket, all small scale run by locals, therefor like you're their neighbour after two days.

    Beautiful and unspoiled location, low population and the number of tourists not swarming the area like the hotspots of Greek mountain villages, but adding a small pleasant presence to the serenity of the village. Overall, 100% recommend to anyone seeking relaxation, nature, hikes, great food and friendly people!

    Very small town but with a lot of tavernas to cater for the tourists. Old Venetian town - attractive port area. Castle supposedly well worth visiting but beware it has odd opening hours and was shut after we had slogged up the hill to it. Our fault for not checking first and assuming that it would be open mid-week

    The town is super cute and versatile.

    The town is super cute and versatile. There are restaurants, taverns and coffee shops everywhere, shops as well. The beach is near, there are many activities and sites to see and 20-minute ride from the centre, there are also amazing hiking places and a lot of museums.
