Everything about this place was welcoming and warm - from the first minute we stepped in until we left. Primarily the staff are very friendly and unbelievably helpful - from nailing the restaurant recommendations, to helping organise excursions, to even helping us solve out some car issues. The location is excellent - with a perfect view of the Gergeti Church - and it's actually a hop skip and away from starting the beautiful trek up, the rooms are wooden and set at just the right temperature and very tastefully decorated and equipped - and even though we did not opt for the breakfast, it looked amazing. It felt entirely like a high end homestay, as if you were staying at your highly accommodating friends up in the mountain. Totally recommend it.

Great stay. The man that was hosting us was very hospitable and made us feel very welcome. Comfiest beds we had on our 3 week stay in Georgia. Great showers. Very clean and cozy. Nice cheminée in the reception area to enjoy in the evening. Quick 5’ Shuttle to the nearest slope. Very helpful regarding the renting of the equipment. As I prefer a very warm room, I was offered an extra heater in my room. The breakfast has the usual morning menu, the coffee it’s freshly brewed. For extra amenities and snacks, Smart supermarket within around 10’ by taxi.

I recently stayed at hotel axien kazbegi for 1 night in April. The hotel's location was ideal for exploring the city, with several attractions within walking distance. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering a beautiful view of mkinvatsveri and gergety trinity church. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally courteous and accommodating throughout my stay. While the rates were reasonable, the overall value exceeded my expectations. The entire hotel was meticulously clean, and I felt safe given the current circumstances. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Axien and would highly recommend it to fellow travelers

The hotel is impeccably maintained and offers stunning views of the snow-covered landscape all around. Our corner room was a standout feature, offering breathtaking views of the sunrise, sunset, New Gudauri, and the majestic mountains right in front. Watching the sun rays paint the mountain peaks in yellow and orange each morning was truly magical. A special mention to Ms. Toko, the Front Office/Guest Relations Executive, whose exceptional attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. She consistently went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt cared for and valued. Her personal engagement during the New Year’s Eve dinner, where she checked in with each guest, was a testament to her dedication and passion for hospitality. In general, the overall hotel staff is courteous and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The New Year’s Eve celebration itself was the highlight of our stay. The arrangements were spectacular, featuring a DJ, live music, fireworks, and fun games. The entire evening was planned and executed flawlessly, creating unforgettable memories for us. The housekeeping team ensured that every corner of the hotel was spotless, and the cleanliness was truly industry-leading. The food was another pleasant surprise—it was absolutely delicious and exceeded all our expectations. As we explored the hotel, we couldn’t help but notice how every small detail in the décor and ambiance seemed to be designed with great care and thoughtfulness. Overall, we couldn’t find a single negative point during our stay. Hotel Monte is a true gem, and we would love to return here. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gudauri—you won’t be disappointed! 🌟

    Fantastic place for skiing holidays.

    Fantastic place for skiing holidays. However, you have to have some previous experience skiing or snowboarding; it's not very beginner-friendly. But the views are fantastic, and paragliding options are available as well, so you can enjoy flying. And most importantly, no queues on lifts:) and decent ticket prices. It was fantastic and memorable holidays.

Restaurant at the property opens at 1 p.m and there is no other restaurants near the property so I'd suggest u taking option with breakfast included. * pool was nice and clean but sometimes music at the pool was too loud and a little annoying (mostly club music)

After seeing Rooms Hotel and dining there, I could definitely stay there for a week and enjoy Kazbegi region. Also, if I go again, I'd probably rent a car in Tbilisi and drive there. Roads are OK without snow and the traffic is not bad at all. Spring and early autumn should be really good in Kazbegi. I liked the close by Sno Village a lot, lovely place.

    The cabin was nice and clean, and the owner was friendly.

    The cabin was nice and clean, and the owner was friendly. It was located in the backyard of their house but still comfortable. There were no windows or anything towards the cabin itself. It's close to the riverside, and you could easily walk there. The rest looked the same as the pictures. There were also some snacks in the mini-fridge, but I believe you have to pay some extra charge for them (we didn't use them, so I'm not sure). upstairs was very hot (we went there in July) but while you were downstairs you could easily use AC. Also, I expected some slippers but I couldn't find any.

    Tbilisi city and mountains are beautiful, places and hotels in New Guduari are beautiful. But people are very rude, they do not know tourism and behave badly. Even the woman in the toilet shouts at people. Also very bad all routes

    Nice hike options, from very easy to intense ones, several routes to choose from, looks like plenty of horse riding available. Many people around main paths, huge climate/altitude steps, great views.
