Wonderful hotel. Amazing service staff, very good location in the heart of the city. Everything is close around. They have a very elegant and clean rooms. Delicious breakfast, very nice spa and beautiful sky bar with great views of the city. I highly recommend Monarch Hotel and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Great rooms, clean and nicely decorated. Super see view. The hotel is walking distance to the beach, stairs down. At the beach sunbeds and umbrella’s and drinks and food available at local restaurants. Free of charge we could do a late check out, great sevice.

    Currently, Batumi is the best Georgian city to holiday in.

    Currently, Batumi is the best Georgian city to holiday in. It's exquisite with its stunning old and contemporary architecture, modern facilities, trendy shopping centres and stores, excellent taxi service, walking areas–including its famous promenade known as the Batumi Bourvard–amusement park for children, endless beach bars and cafes, restaurants with local and international menus, boat trips and countless sea activities, really hard to name them all. Embrace yourself in a typical Georgian nightlife that lasts from dusk to dawn. CCTV and friendly Georgian police guarantee safety 24/7 despite the huge amount of visitors from all over the world. The local staff speaks at least three languages and frequently up to five languages, which is super convenient. I could write a book about Batumi, but the best is to visit it and dive into one of the oldest Eastern European/West Asian cities that guarantees unforgettable memories to anyone with any taste. It is the most expensive place in Georgia but the cheapest in Europe.

    Kobuleti is a truly wonderful place to visit. The town has a unique charm, with a beautiful seaside, fresh air, and a relaxing atmosphere. It’s perfect for families, couples, and anyone who wants to enjoy the Black Sea coast away from the crowds. The hospitality of the locals makes the experience even more special. I would definitely recommend everyone to visit Kobuleti – it’s a hidden gem worth discovering!

    Kvariati is a small, peaceful town (but still developing), with a small number of small shops and restaurants, where prices cannot be called low. The beach is with small pebbles, it would be good to have special beach shoes. The sea was not very calm and transparent when we were there.

    Being very close to the border with Turkey, there is, unfortunately, TOO MUCH heavy truck traffic on the only highway along the beach. Be CAREFUL (walking) crossing the road to the beach! There are PLENTY of authentic Georgian restaurants serving great salads and cold beer!)))

    If you want to get away from the crowds and noise of Batumi, this is your place. Marshrutkas/buses come by regularly to and from Batumi, but the traffic there makes the ride about 30 minutes. Both the national park and botanical gardens are in Chakvi.

    Be careful of this host on all aspects.

    Be careful of this host on all aspects. He mentioned that he speaks 3 languages and literally he told me that he doesn’t speak English. His friend guest in the place smoke everywhere and he doesn’t hold himself from doing gas in the hallway or in the kitche. The cigarettes smell are everywhere. I spent 2 months and 24 days and the host rejected to change my sheets or the bed set. Keep an eye on them just to stay safe.

    Not much to see in the town, but it's a good base for...

    Not much to see in the town, but it's a good base for exploring upper Adjara. We were there in March, which had snow and rain, so perhaps it's more charming in the summer months. Plenty of basic services in town as well.

    3 days are more more more then enough.

    3 days are more more more then enough. The sea ( with different water activities) , botanical garden (with a zip line ) , different infrastructure of hotels 😂, few cable cars. That’s all about batumi .

    Kobuleti is a nice small town on the Black Sea beach.

    Kobuleti is a nice small town on the Black Sea beach. We stayed in a hotel with breakfast and ate dinner in small cafes which are plentiful, with good local food and quite reasonable prices. We moved around on foot and in a rented car. The beach is fine, safe and not overcrowded even at the peak of the swimming season. Everyone speaks good Russian, as a Russian speaker you have zero communication problems.
