- From £121.45 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 60 reviewsVery special and atmospheric place. Extremely friendly and sincere staff. If you wish to explore and participate in authentic local traditional happenings like lovo dinner or kava ceremony, Salt Lake Lodge is the place to stay. And never book any guided tours on the Salt Lake from third parties, because if you are staying at Salt Lake Lodge you will get all the equipment and advice for free to do it on your own! Book the romantic dinner on the Salt Lake instead. This comes at an additional cost, but Salt Lake lodge staff and extraordinary chef will go out of their way to turn this into the most amazing and unexpected surprise during your whole stay in Fiji!Guest review byJurgisLithuania
- From £71.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 26 reviewsUnplanned stopped into Savusavu and was luckily enough to find this. Situated on a hill (400m), where a 4WD is required this place is breathtaking. If you need a place to stay, unwind and just want to recharge your batteries where no one can disturb you, I would highly recommend this. Just bring your food/wine and enjoy the peace and serenity of Korovesi Sunshine Villas.Guest review byGeorginaAustralia

Savusavu is a great location for a peaceful holiday, giving to a more traditional Fijian experience with less resorts on the island. The market is a great for self catering or just absorbing the atmosphere, especially early on Sat when the fish market is there too. The people are very friendly and fun to be around, as you walk down the street you are constantly greeted warmly with Bula! Nateway Bay is mostly untouched and an amazing place to see.Guest review bySheerwood - 10.0

Definitely make the effort to venture across to Savusavu—it’s far more picturesque than Fiji’s main island. Getting around is a breeze: you can hop on local buses, grab a taxi, or simply wave down a friendly local for a ride (just agree on the fare beforehand). The people are incredibly welcoming and helpful—they’ll happily arrange any activity you fancy, and you’ll feel the rich Fijian culture everywhere. We even attended a Sunday singing service in the local church—it was breathtaking to hear the harmonies and feel the community spirit firsthand. One outstanding place to dine is La Dolce Vita Resort, where Chef Michele crafts everything from scratch—each dish melts in your mouth with fresh, local flavors.Guest review bySophieAustralia - 4.0

Scruffy little town (and scruffy island) with not a lot for tourists. I have much preferred staying in the Mamanuca Island chain - cuter islands, more of a holiday feel and better snorkelling than what we experienced here. The best thing was watching steam rising off the beach in town at sunset, glowing golden in the late afternoon sunGuest review byMelNew Zealand
