This fabulous recently opened hotel was formerly an old spanish farmhouse. Located in a nature reserve and surrounded by olive and almond trees, it overlooks the amazing Montserrat mountain range. The architecture of the old stones has been respected both inside and outside and in perfect harmony with refined modern decoration. Here you find an atmosphere of absolute tranquility and cosiness with woodstoves in different tasteful lounges. The spacious rooms have high quality bedding, natural hevea matrasses and organic cotton linen. A delicious breakfast is served with quality organic coffee, tea and a buffet with typical Catalan dishes, not to mention the fresh eggs from their own chickens. The owner Carola gives you besides professional and warm attention, good advice for places to visit or for restaurants in the area. We really loved everything and therefore decided to return and celebrate this coming new years eve at this marvelous place.

Casa Iaia is one of the best place that I have live in. Home owner name this place Casa Iaia (means grandma) cause it was his grandma’s home built in the 1940-50’s. He is very caring, check in before we arrive, gave us instructions on how to get there, check us in when we arrive at 9pm. There was one morning we woke up in the mist, a-bit disappointed with the weather. He texted us not to worry with the weather as it is just low mist, the weather is great at the peak of Montserrat. We did what he suggested and we were rewarded with a sea of clouds right below us. He made one of the best day of our trip. All I can say is he is really a friendly, great host. He cares for us so much that we felt home away from home. Thank you Pere!

You have everything you need just in one place! And of course near to your apartment! But if you want to cook some food at home - you will have everything, but it will be better to buy food before Monestrol 😉 Except of it - the best place for my opinion: cozy, warm, comfortable as possible

The house was great; more than big enough for all of us and the owner, despite not speaking English, was quite helpful, thanks to Google translate. He answered all our questions and provided the additional info we were looking for - directing us to local shops, petrol stations, etc. Making the washing machine available was a bonus as this is only normally available for lets of 3 days or more. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the facilities in general were very good.
