We have stayed several times. Luis and his wife are very friendly. There used to be an on site restaurant that was run separate to the hotel. That has closed and now luis's wife cooks dinner and breakfast for you. It's very good home cooking. The hotel is an old 13th century manor house set in wonderful gardens. There are a few bars and restaurants 10 mins walk down the road.

The property is beautiful, majestic and very well maintained with large grounds that are superbly maintained. Our room was very generously sized with great amenities. There is generous off street parking and they also have an electric vehicle charging point. We were very impressed!

This is a place in heaven! Beautiful, calm, positioned in the green hills near Santander, this is heaven on earth. The super friendly hosts, Juan and his mother are the kindest people in the world and do everything to make you feel good. The views are sensational. I will go back.

This hotel was fantastic! An old house in a lovely village with spectacular views surrounded by a well kept garden. Upon opening the front door, we were assailed by the beautiful smell of beeswax polish. Our key was waiting for us on the table and there was lemon water and glasses in the hall. Full of interesting collections and pictures. Fab room with balcony covered in geraniums - just perfect! Booking in at the larger Hotel Miera in the adjacent village was no problem and the concierge was helpful and friendly.

The hotel is 25 min walking from the city centre, the rooms are modern and nice. There is 24 h bar and they make a very good coffee in the morning, we didn't try the breakfast. The receptionist speaks good English. There is a bus and train station near by if you don't want to walk to the centre.

With superb relaxation and spa facilities, including a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, this is a luxurious, modern and renovated historical building in a tranquil setting of Solares.

Pros: facilities, thermal baths, rooms quality, staff approaches, decoration, design, warm spaces and so on… The standard of Castilla Termal chain is fully respected.

Superb location in terms of its closeness to Ferry Port, petrol station to fuel up before departure. Modern, clean, super quiet and extremely friendly staff. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. The Smart TV was great as we could log into own media accounts to watch movies in English. Spacious, secure free carpark. Cannot rate it highly enough
