- From £89.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,019 reviewsBeautiful view from the window to the lake next to the hotel. Exquisite frog choir in the evening. Friendly staff. Special room for bicycle parking. Lot of small things that will make your stay very comfortable and even luxuries. High quality hygiene products. Generous breakfast. Unattainable level of comfort just for 46 EUR for 2 guests with breakfast. We would really like to stay longer, but unfortunately we have to leave.Guest review bySergeyGermany

It is a great old town with plenty of things to see, especially if you are into historical sightseeing and lovely nature/surroundings. Just make sure that you come at the right time. Due to our trip to the Czech Republic in January, we did stop in Znojmo, but were a little bit surprised that most of the sights have April-October opening time.Guest review byIvanSlovenia - 10.0

Telč is an exceptionally beautiful small historic city with original, very well preserved houses from the Gothic period, reconstructed to the current appearance in the Renaissance time. It is, therefore, rated as UNESCO world heritage. I can recommend its official website https://www.telc.eu/ for all further details. I have been there many times since my first visit to Czechia in 1993, and in particular since I am living in this country permanently since 2014 - it is one of the places I show to almost all friends who visit me. To see most of it, daytime and nighttime, staying at least two half days with a night in between is optimal.Guest review byHendrikCzech Republic - 10.0

So many twisty streets to follow and then, BAM, a gorgeous group of buildings, or a fabulous church. Lots of lovely spots to enjoy food and drink. The Gobelin tapestry museum and tour really satisfied my love of Czech crafts.Guest review byBonnieCzech Republic - 8.0
If you want to get off the tourist track, try Jihlava!
If you want to get off the tourist track, try Jihlava! The town itself has a charming square that is not stuck in time - this is a normal Czech town with a super ugly shopping center right in the middle of the square. Also in the center, there are tours of catacombs under the town and a zoo. Jihlava also makes a good base for day trips around southern Czechia (such as Telc or Trebon).Guest review byKelli WayUnited States - 10.0
Trebic is well worth a visit.
Trebic is well worth a visit. The Basilica of St Procopius is an architectural gem and the Jewish Quarter has been beautifully preserved. Public transport is best managed from other large cities by bus, as train journeys often have to be broken with complicated changes. Not so good for those of us who are less mobile. I took the Flixbus from Brno in the morning and was in Trebic in an hour. The next day I took another bus to Prague and was there in two hours. If you're taking the Auto Bey bus from Trebic bus station to Prague you need to know it leaves from the side of stand 3, but technically outside the bus station, so the connection isn't on the departures board in the bus station building. The town is in two halves on both banks of the Jihlava river, so don't miss the town square and the church of St. Martin, or the painted house. Trebic also seems to have one or two good cafes as well - always good when you're walking around and need some refreshment.Guest review byClare K.Czech Republic - 4.0
Tourist non friendly destination.
Tourist non friendly destination. High prices, almost no service. Big problem to find a place in restaurant ( only 2 places ), pour product stores ( 3 small Vietnamese stores ) But beautifull nature and castleGuest review byYEVHENUkraine - 10.0
The town was just the right size for a three day visit.
The town was just the right size for a three day visit. We had our dog with us so no museums or galleries were on our list but we were welcome everywhere else. We'd highly recommend Víno Kára (only food available are meat and cheese plates) and Winebar Chatka for their wines (but not for food at all).Guest review byMikeCzech Republic - 10.0
Telč is beautiful.
Telč is beautiful. However we were there in October, when there was nothing going on. The castle was closed for exterior cleaning, covered in scaffolding and many businesses were closed for the season. The staff at the visitors office was very helpful, but there were no events going on. She did give us a map with different walks around the city, so we did that. A stop at Cafe Telč is worth it for the best hot chocolate I have ever hadGuest review byPaulUnited States - 10.0
We’ve been several times before and hope to go again!
We’ve been several times before and hope to go again! It is very atmospheric for a town centre stroll, is a good centre for travelling around on foot or by public transport and has lots of bars and restaurants. And the sun always seems to be shining.Guest review byDavid and DeirdreUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Jihlava is a quiet small central european town.
Jihlava is a quiet small central european town. It has a lot of charming architechture particularly in the old town and areas near there. The locals were helpful despite my not speaking Czech language. The journey here was for me to see someone I care about deeply which is why I could have stayed far longer. Getting around Jihlava is really simple. In the heart of the old town everything is a short walk to you. However for those further afield areas there is a public transport system including trolley buses.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom
