There are markets, local stalls, two malls, and plenty of places to grab bubble teas and fresh juices, including small family-run stands. Dongguan is not a destination city. It does not have the things to do that Shenzhen and Guangzhou have. But if you are there on business or visiting friends, there are some things to do. The mall off of the Hongfu subway stop is nice. Qifeng park is huge and beautiful. Grateful Q is a great restaurant with amazing ribs.
