SwitzerlandWe received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The hotel is full of charm, blending historic character with tasteful modern touches. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, featuring a spacious and relaxing bathroom. As vegans, we appreciated the extra effort the hosts made to provide us with suitable breakfast options. We’ll definitely stay here again — next time we hope to try the restaurant and bar, which were unfortunately closed during our visit.

The appointment is very conveniently located on the main road. Really spacious and well equipped with anything you could need for your stay.
Lovely rooms, comfortable beds, information booklets supplied for all appliances.
The rooms are much bigger than they look on the pictures, immaculate condition.
Relaxing sounds or the running river come through when you open the windows and you can feel the mountain.

Poschiavo is tranquil and serene place. Small town but big enough to walk if you want a calm quiet moment. I found this place is a bit cheaper to eat in the restaurant than in places like zermatt. Nice hotel with a very good personnel. The restaurant offers a varied (but not too big) list of menus, some with typical ingredients of the region, such as Posciavo's red polenta (really good). The borge (town centre) is very beautiful (and quiet, as it is almost car-free). Many interesting sights, small workshops, museums, cultural and architectural things to see and explore. Friendly people. Once you have seen it all, start exploring the whole of the valley that offers everything from the Bernina Hospizio down to Tirano in Valtalina vallley. We were taking a train trip through Switzerland and this was perfect for an overnight stop. Really close to the train stop, a very good restaurant, very friendly staff and we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely bedroom with spacious lounge area. The breakfast was also good. Lots of interesting architecture, pretty villas and palazzos. Museums not open in the winter which is a shame. Great to use as stop-over on the Bernina train line.
