The modern and aesthetically pleasing design, clean rooms, hotel room amenities (robe, slippers, coffee machine, teas/coffee etc), hotel room views, excellent breakfast with a range of choice, wonderful spa, convenient location with the train station only a very short walk away and friendly and accommodating staff (a special shout out Alexandra and Fata who were on duty at breakfast time - they were so hospitable and kind to me).

We stayed in a separate small building with only our room in it (suite), which had an amazing atmosphere. The bathtub carved out of a huge rock is amazing. Breakfast is quite simple, but the dinner was very delicious.

SwitzerlandLocation is very good. We were travelling with car and everything was near by. There’s free parking in front of the hotel Breakfast was very tasty, simple but delicious and fresh. Everything excellent. View from hotel unbelievable and beautiful and amazing specially in the morning and night. Room was beautiful clean comfortable bathroom very clean actually I was amazed because I was expecting something simple for this price. Everything was there internet, tv, safe, towels, bathroom accessories, AC. Very quiet area. I love the details with mirrors everywhere. Definitely we will come back.

Marco is a great host, kind to everyone, open for chats (which we love) and very attentive. We stayed 5 nights and the breakfast was perfect, every single day. He makes good coffee, there were different cheeses to choose from every day, and fresh fruit, among others. We were also very happy with the beds, after almost a week in Interlaken with super soft beds, we were happy with these nice, sturdy matrasses. Marco also organizes dinners. We were able to enjoy one of them and we were very satisfied. We will come again, when we're back in Ticino! With the Ticino ticket that you get upon arrival, you can use all means of public transport in Ticino free of charge. That's a huge bonus. Bellinzona is only 20 minutes by bus and from there you can take great walks, either high up in the mountains (using a cable car to get there), or lower, there's ample choice.Guest review byMariekeNetherlands

I grew up near Giubiasco, but left so many years ago, coming back was a real treat and I'm hoping to do it again. We spent most of the time with long standing friends.
