We had a wonderful stay at Bamboo House. The staff provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. The rooms, while compact, are extremely cozy and well maintained. A great advantage of this property is the swimming pool, which was perfect for relaxation. Guests also have access to a karaoke room, adding an enjoyable option for evening entertainment. The on-site café serves delicious food, and the bar offers a pleasant atmosphere. Another big plus is that parking is available right next to the rooms, which was very convenient. The location is also excellent, with a beautiful lake and several supermarkets within walking distance. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would be happy to return.

Marco was a fantastic host, very welcoming. Dinner was delicious, everything was homemade and homegrown or very local (rocket from the garden, fish from the lake, wine from the neighbouring vineyard). Marco’s mixed pasta was exceptional. We had a super evening, nicely finished in front of the fire with grappa and music on the juke box. Super breakfast too… loved the walnut bread and so many delicious delicacies.
We will definitely be returning, this is a very special place and worth a detour.

Beautiful estate in the middle of a vineyard, with great views around to the mountains. We stayed in a separate small building with only our room in it (suite), which had an amazing atmosphere. The bathtub carved out of a huge rock is amazing. Breakfast is quite simple, but the dinner was very delicious.

Good breakfast, friendly staff, super accommodations. Flexibility to check in at an awkward time. We drove 1000 kilometers coming from south of Italy and contacted the property for a late check in. We are. We are very thankful it worked well and that we could stay and relax before coming back to Germany.

Lovely place nice and quiet and clean. Breakfast is 5 minutes away just a short walk you get a discount if you go for breakfast. Yes it iss easy to get around and motorway next to it with service area.

It is very convenient to go to all areas of Ticino, as there are buses every 15-30 minutes to Bellinzona, Giubiasco and Locarno. For example, it takes only 12 minutes by train from Giubiasco to Lugano.

I grew up near Giubiasco, but left so many years ago, coming back was a real treat and I'm hoping to do it again. We spent most of the time with long standing friends.
Public transport was amazing, eating out was always a treat but also the meals at San Giobbe were very good.
