Room size and all features facilities were good ,tip top, my young kids loved the bunk beds 3. Staff were very kind , understanding and very helpful To give example we forgot rain / snow guard for one of kids stroller they arranged for one on the fly , they were very understanding, if you have small children these small helps mean a lot 4. Bath small pool was excellent 5. Paradise spieleplatz is heaven for kids for any age, you have so many options they love it 6. Additional playing areas , piano , lot of small toys for playing here and there, even at restaurant you have a kids play area they really loved that 7. We went there as 3 family groups total 4 kids , I had 2 toddlers and the other ones were 9 and 11 year old , each kid enjoyed a lot with so many options 8. Steam bath was also very good 9. Food was good I must appreciate the owner lady and her husband were very kind and helpful, also welcoming which made our stay very pleasant. If you like tea, please note that unlike England where a kettle is standard, here there was only a coffee maker. We used this to make hot water. We would DEFINETELY recommend staying at this apartment both for quality , location and helpful staff. Deposit: This took a long time to receive back , a combination of the holiday season and the bank transferring it back to us. Downstairs there was a living room with table, chairs and coffee machine and a bathroom. Upstairs there was the bed and a telescope to see the mountains. The room and the hotel were beautifully designed. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The restaurant had good food. Breakfast was also very delicious with a broad variety of foods. The spa and pool area were very nice (open till 6 pm for families and after that for adults only). I arrived on the afternoon of a festival where the one-way...
I arrived on the afternoon of a festival where the one-way Promenade was traffic free. With many street food stalls, music and a lot of public. The walk around the lake was enjoyable and also a trip up to Jakobshorn of reduced ticket prices (Fr. 18.- return, make sure that at the top you can get through the turnstile and not pay for the downhill journey like we did. Got a refund at the cash desk at the bottom though) for hotel guests with the tourist card. Also free travel on the the nostalgic train to Filisur and back and on all buses was a bonus. Scenery is splendid, and if you're a train enthusiast, it's the place to be for the Bernina or Glacier Express. Can recommend a bite to eat or just Coffee and Cake at Kaffee Klatsch on the Promenade. Schatzalp is just a funicular away and you'll feel lifted back to the beginning of the last century.Guest review byJeanetteSwitzerland - 10.0
Amazing and quiet location.
Amazing and quiet location. We visited Davos during our stay as well and found that too busy - whereas Klosters was right up our alley. Quaint, with a few boutiques and very nice restaurants. Klosters Serneus is a very nice village with a direct connection to the ski area of Klosters Serneus. The slopes are well prepared, the ski lifts are modern and fast, and the slopes are wide. Davos - and Klosters - are great for holidays in summer and winter. skiing and nordic skiing anyway. But in summer there is the lake for kayaking or surfing or - if you don't mind the cold water - swimming. The mountains for downhill biking or hikes. The outdoors are second to none. In addition Davos offers a fantastic cultural program for visitors. Concerts, Young Artists or established orchestras etc. --- you can get special and unique experiences there. I highly recommend to look at the visitors or guest program by the DavosKlosters Tourist Board. From disc-golf to carriage rides, archery or visits by historic bus to Monstein brewery -- a divers and fabulous array of offers, you can only book them 2 weeks in advance but it's so worth it. We did enjoy staying in Klosters, for us it was so much nicer than Davos. It was quiet at night time and had a good range of shops and cafes. An excellent Co-op sold a huge variety of foods. We only ate out once - at the Sonne Restaurant, where we had a lovely meal. Reasonably priced too. We made use of the swimming pool - had a laned area reserved for swimmers.
