Kitchen is very well equipped! Bathroom too and bed very comfortable! The location is very special, in the middle of the very beautiful village directly at the quiet village square, great setting! Very friendly host! The shop nextdoor with all local products, selfpaying and 24h accessible, is very easy and very great!!

The location is a short distance out of town and away from any noisy roads so it was pleasantly quiet, a great view from the Apartment, nicely furnished and comfortable. We could go for a great hike further up the mountain, quick and easy and the host was very friendly and helpful with additional guidance.

    The friendly and warm hospitality - I feel genuinely welcomed; location - easy access, in the middle of the village, quiet; well-maintained charming historic building; very nice (single) big room with a generously sized and comfortable bed, the room has a nice balcony; wonderful service - Ticino ticket provide free use of public transport with the canton, local tips; at least three really good restaurants in the village. Intragna itself is a good base for exploring this romantic and dramatic area

    Well, with real-estate it is always location, location, location. It was a wonderful spot and Andrea, the host has build a little slice of paradise there. The pool was a fabulous bonus, although not olympic size a very refreshing. We were very happy to be there! Andrea directed us to a convenient supermarket, a delicious restaurant, and my personal favourite, the Pizzeria.

    We enjoyed our stay in Castello del Nucleo very much, it was exactly the get away we were looking for. Intragna is a beautiful little village and the local food is fantastic. The accommodation was much roomier than we were expecting and also very modern inside. Thanks a lot to Sandra for her great hospitality.

    Intragna is a beautiful small town not far from Locarno (...

    Intragna is a beautiful small town not far from Locarno (30mins away by regular train/bus). Siuated on a hill, narrow cobbled streets and glimpses to the surrounding hills and mountains. Panetteria Pasticceria Pellanda Sagl is wonderful: friendly staff, lovely cakes and bread, and superb ice creams (and a terrace with a stunning view along the valley). There are several wild swimming spots in the river (eg Golino and Ponte Romano). The museum is fantastic (and good value for money) with friendly staff … be sure to buy a ticket to climb the campanile too. We also used Negozio avantiavanti da Ursula on the main square for groceries … it's open 24/7 and has a good range of food. It's a shame the bar in the centre of town seems to have recently closed. There are lovely walks in the surrounding woodland (make sure you have your climbing legs though).

    There are a lot of hiking routes from Tegna or from places which can be reached easily by bus or train within 30 minutes from Tegna. I do not like to stay in cities when I go for hiking. Tegna is a nice peacefull little place. If you miss a busier city you can get from Tegna to Locarno in less then 20 minutes by train.

    Nice village with a great bakery and several good restaurants. The famous valleys near Locarno/Ascona are easy to reach, and it is just a few minutes to drive to central Locarno. As usual in Switzerland, public transportation is great!
