- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 183 reviewsI had one of the best weekends away ever. The hotel is in a very beautiful location with stunning views. I loved the ride to the hotel by the snow taxi. when we arrived, the staff were very welcoming and genuinely friendly. It’s been a while since I’ve experienced such hospitality where every single member of staff have been authentically welcoming. we felt looked after at all times. The food was delicious and I tried every single beer they had and some wine. the spa was a perfect way to finish our stay. our dogs loved the snow. we feel very relaxed and will definitely come back. thank you and keep doing what you’re doing.Guest review byKristineSwitzerland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 151 reviewsThis has been the most comfortable and nicest accommodation we have stayed in during our time in Europe. The rooms are gorgeous, the view lovely, the hosts are very friendly and there are lots of extra features such as the sauna, the sound and vibration bed, and the gym. We would have loved to stay much longer but only stopped for the night on our way through. This place is definitely worth spending some time at so you can enjoy the space.Guest review byElysiaAustralia
- From US$178.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.1Good - What previous guests thought, 709 reviewsThe rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast spread was great with many options to fuel yourself before a day on the snow. The location was great as it was close to the Eggishorn chair lift however that hill was steep after a while. Great views of the mountains from the balcony. The sauna was amazing and the restaurant downstairs was delicious.Guest review byXavierAustralia

The huge warm indoor salt water pool was amazing and we really enjoyed the gym too. The breakfast had healthy vegan and vegetarian options. - From US$231.22 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 64 reviewsThe best part is of course the view from the room. Incredibly beautiful mountains, forest and small houses of the village Fiesch. Very friendly staff who, at any request, could always help and provide everything you need. Everything is fine, everyone liked it. My personal advice is to add scrambled eggs to your breakfast if possible. So, 10/10Guest review byDaniilUkraine

Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis.
Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis. The perfect base to organize your trips from. Locally you have the Cable car to Fiescher-Alp and Eggishorn. Several walks of 5 to 10 Km loops are passing in Fiesch. In less than a one-hour drive, you can reach the passes Grimsel, Furka, Simplon, and Gottart. Close by you can also find Binn which is a great spot for 1-day hikes on a higher altitude. Fiesch has all the shops you could need. Fuel and resto are a bit cheaper than in the big cities. I loved it!Guest review byHansBelgium - 10.0

We don't ski, and there might be better mountains for skiing, but this town was quintessential Swiss. Getting there was incredibly easy and Bettmeralp was absolutely darling. The views of the Alps are something we will never forget. Great mix of people, nice selection of restaurants, super winter walk over to Riederalp ... really enjoyed the town and our stay.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Not sure what to make of Mörel....not much here i was there for the 2025 Aletsch Half-Marathon, Mörel is a little dated so don't expect much perhaps you should consider other very close options like BettermeralpGuest review byIanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It was definitely a highlight of our trip in the Swiss Alps.
It was definitely a highlight of our trip in the Swiss Alps. The views of the glaciers were amazing - not matter which gondola you took. There are plenty of interesting walks of all types (easy, medium and hard). It is a small place with no cars so it has a nice, country feel to it. People were lovely and very friendly. Would highly recommend.Guest review byJulieAustralia - 10.0
Picturesque mountain village, some houses date from 1400’s.
Picturesque mountain village, some houses date from 1400’s. Spectacular hill walking, hiking. Good footpaths. Switzerland is expensive but this area is worth a visit. Easy access to Aletsch glacier for excellent ski ing. The cable car is a short drive, massive car park available or there is a regular bus serviceGuest review byFionaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

You can easily spend a few days, as this town offers hikin trails, and bike trails around the valleys. I was sorry to leave so quick. However, I visited top of the mountain to see the glacier, it is totally worth it and amazing.Guest review byDominykasLithuania - 10.0

Beautiful location within very short distance from very nice hiking paths and very close to the Aletsch glacier. I loved! The surroundings and scenery are breathtaking and make you feel grateful To the Universe for the opportunity to see them. We did go to Bettmeralp, which is incredible. Really worth to visit!Guest review byPaula ReginaSwitzerland - 10.0
- amazing views - great starting point for many hikes
- amazing views - great starting point for many hikes - range of restaurants - facilities for kids like a tennis and football pitch - 2 supermarkets (COOP is the least expensive one) - the fact that is is car free and you need to come up by cable cart is a big plus, as it really helps you transition into that holiday mindset - in the next village Bettmeralp there is a swimming lakeGuest review byJAJNetherlands - 8.0
Beautiful views, peaceful place with charming houses.
Beautiful views, peaceful place with charming houses. We took long walks around Ernen and in neighboring towns. We used car service from Lake Como to Ernen and did the same from Ernen to Interlaken. We had the most friendly and helpful staff at our hotel. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.Guest review byJefferyUnited States - 10.0
Bettmeralp was a fun place to visit for skiing.
Bettmeralp was a fun place to visit for skiing. Exceptional scenery. Food was a good standard although a bit pricey, similar to everywhere else in Switzerland. There are two good supermarkets in Bettmeralp if you want to cook in your apartment. Good experiences with equipment hire and ski lessons. Some places only spoke German so you'll want some German ability or rely on translator apps (which is what we did).Guest review byBen
