Nice and very good hotel. High quality services, good food, clean. All recommendation for this places. Hotel area (pools and saunas) is very good and what is more you have just 2 minutes far from the SPA center. Gym is also good. Food is rich.

I was particularly impressed by the variety and quality of the food. The restaurant offers a rich selection of both international dishes and traditional Bulgarian specialties. Every day was different, and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The hotel also boasts numerous amenities, including a spa, which is a real treat after a day at the beach, as well as a pool with a bar that adds an extra touch of luxury and relaxation.     Beautiful place ❤️ I was prepared just for a nice room for two with a private bathroom, but we received an apartment! Large clean bathroom, comfortable bedroom, big living room with kitchenette and great balcony with the gorgeous view. We travelled after season so there was small amount of people. It was quiet and relaxing as we needed. About food - very delicious and fresh. I had small choice as I'm vegetarian (spaghetti with spicy tomatoes, risotto, grilled veggies and fries), but my partner was in heaven with all that meat from the grill.

    First of all, I would definitely mention the kindness and availability of the staff. Secondly, the comments that there is no choice of food and drinks are not at all accurate, in relation to the price, the variety is excellent, the quality is excellent. Only a spoiled person would complain about the food. The hotel has a private part of the beach where sunbeds and umbrellas are free of charge. Ignore the comments that there are too many steps. While that's true, this is a great exercise to tone it down.

    We are a family with 2 young kids. The hotel location is perfect, next to the beach. And the room is new and clean. Staff are very friendly. Huge variety for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bar service is good. The entertainment program was wonderful, great job to the entertainment team! It was a pleasant 6 days 5 nights stay in the hotel! Highly recommended to those who love beach and hassle-free vacation! 👍

    The apartment we stayed in had big rooms. The view was amazing, tasty food and good drinks, friendly staff, the pools were clean. Actually, everywere you looked in the resort was very clean. The aqua park was all the kids needed for a great stay. There were lifeguards near every pool and on the beach also. Everywere in the resort, we had good wifi connection.

    Golden sands now is very turistic and way too crowded.

    Golden sands now is very turistic and way too crowded. The walking corridor along the beach and the hotels now is full of stores and restaurants and sometimes you cannot even walk. There are several things to explore in the area besides de beach ( which to me is better towards Varna than golden sands). Varna sea garden, and harbor are a nice thing to explore while you are there. Also other historical places as the Ovech fortress or the aladhza monastery are good options. We also took our chances and went to Nesebar old town ( 2 hours from varna) totally worthed.

    From a tourism perspective, it's not a very interesting city...

    From a tourism perspective, it's not a very interesting city. It has a large park, a less impressive pedestrian street, and a long beach that is crowded and littered (lots of cigarette butts are scattered around). There are a few scattered socialist-era sights still in the city. I would recommend visiting the nearby Balchik instead.

    It's a great place to visit for a chill vaycay. Aside from the unique setting there are less points if interest than expected. The palace and it's gardens was great and huge, you should set aside an entire day for it if you plan to see it. The beach was okey, the main one is on the smaller side, it's in a janky area aswell but it was not overcrowded. There was also an odd tiny beach but we didn't go there. It seemed terrible to be honest. A road between the sand and the water and a strip of rock and gravel between the road and water. Have transport if you are staying further into the town. The whole place is on a series of steep hills, that is a lot of upward walking in the blistering heat.

    Kranevo is a lovely place, you can park at the beach so, if you have mobility issues you can still get into the sea. Restaurants on the beach are clean and very good value for money. The beach is level and very good for children as it is shallow for a long way out.

    Kavarna is a little town, if you like big really crowded places maybe this one is not for you. Plenty of places and things to do in the area, lovely beaches and natural beauty. Nice bars and restaurants in the center of the town, food and value for the money is perfect. You will need a car to travel around to see things, not that far away from Kavarna is a mussel farm and restaurant, snail farm and restaurant, vineyard and orchards where you can buy fresh apple juice.

    To get to the city center from the location we were hosted was very easy. 10 minutes walking to arrive the restaurants area (which were plenty and with good foods). Also small markets with beach articles and mini-markets to buy what you needs (groceries and other stuff) were near by. Restaurant recommendations: 1. OKOTO 2. YARD

    The beach is very nice and cleen I stayed at Flamingo Grand Hotel fot 7 nights And that was ok.but the staff should have smiie more. Thei make very good pizza all over the place. It is easy to travel around Albena For me was very nice to go to Varna and Dobrich.

    It has a good position, close to Balcik, Kavala, and Cape...

    It has a good position, close to Balcik, Kavala, and Cape Kaliakra. We loved the cuisine in the area, especially the Snail Farm restaurant, the Mussles Farm restaurant, and Balcon del Mundo. People are more friendly here than in other areas in Bulgaria.
