Nice places to visit in the city, plenty of restaurants and shops. Sea side is very good and well maintained, very clean. Easy to move around, Tram and train station, all usable with your bank card. Usually plenty of carpark places all over the city. We drove around from here to other city's like Bruge and Ghent and it was fast and it is amazing how they kept the speed limits quite high even in the city. Well done Belgium.Guest review byV - 10.0

Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.Guest review byAnonymousBelgium - 10.0

If you like a mondaine place next to the see, with great nature, walks, beaches, beachclubs nearby this is the place. Great selection of restaurants, shopping, Golf and watersports. Knokke has a famous Micro climate and a nature reserve to go for long walks. Dogs are allowed on the beach between Mid October and April. The rich and the famous come here to see and be seen, so that you need to be in favour of. Dont expect Knokke to be the same a a remote beach village in Bretagne, but it certainly is worth a visit.Guest review byKimFrance - 10.0

Lovely little town with diverse shops, grocers, bakers. Beach and sea spotless, excellent life guards, good play areas for the kids. An excellent sea side holiday with lots of attractions close by and a tram to take you there so leave the car at home.Guest review byJeanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Nieuwpoort consists of the main town which in a little distance inland, and Nieuwpoort-Bad which is at the seaside. Make sure you pick the right one. Nieuwpoort-Bad is one of the better Belgian seaside towns with shops, good hotels and apartments, and entertainment. It’s also a good base from which to drive or take the Littoral tram along the coast. Parking can be a pain, but most of the seaside towns offer 30mins free then €1 or €1.50 per hour. But you have to register your number plate and take a ticket for the free 30 mins option. Santos Palace in nearby Koksijde is a must visit for hot chocolate, waffles and patisserie.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean and in a great location, views from the balcony were amazing ! All round terrace so views from every room. Lift access from a free car parking space underneath the building. Kitchen had everything you need for but if you are coming by car remember to bring the little things like coffee, tea and sugar and a tea towel and maybe a coat hanger or two, me personally lived out of my case so it did not bother me too much but my friend hand her clothes on the coat pegs in the hallway. Not a biggie. There is a Lidl and Aldi about a mile away which was handy, but we did not see any other shops close by, it was February so possibly the shops are seasonal. Transport links very good, and we caught the coastal tram to Ostend which was just under 8 euros for a day pass, so you can hop on and off all day. I cannot say anything negative about the apartment and would highly recommendGuest review byrachelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A stunning village - for anyone interested in architecture it is worth taking the time to stroll the wide boulevards and check out the incredible houses, each different from the other. The beach is close by with a long paved promenade, deckchairs and many facilities. There is also a tram service through the centre of town with one direct to Ostende and train connection to Brugge.Guest review byPatriciaFrance - 10.0
The Beach at Koksijde is absolutely stunning.
The Beach at Koksijde is absolutely stunning. There are plenty of Restraunts and beach bars. Friday Mornings there is a street market with local belgian foods and other small business vendors. Everything you could want on a beach vacation is easily accessible on ZeeLaan (Main Street) Taking advantage of the KustTram you can travel from DePanne to Ostende (where you can catch the train to Brugge - a definite must see)Guest review byR CraigUnited States - 6.0
Not so touristic and so not over-crowded.
Not so touristic and so not over-crowded. Quiet and dog friendly beach. You can see the beach from the main street due to the dune. Therefore there is no boardwalk with view however nice little walking/biking paths. Few shops and restaurants. It was a nice place to go however for me it was missing the beach vibe that you find in other Belgium coast beaches.Guest review byAlineBelgium - 6.0
Ostende was out of control on the 1. May
Ostende was out of control on the 1. May Too many people everywhere, the traffic was saturated, police and ambulances driving forth and back. The days after, it was calm and you could profit from the stay.Guest review byPascalGermany
