For a seaside room, the bathroom was well designed with all necessary (better quality) amenities. Beach bags, towels, chairs and umbrella were all provided/available at no extra charges. Maroochydore is a lovely place to visit for all age groups.
Maroochydore is a lovely place to visit for all age groups. The public transport buses are running past constantly. Ubers are readily available and an economic way to get around also if you have no car. The Sunshine plaza is a huge mall situated on the Maroochy river, hundred of shops and eateries, also a movie theatre. The beach & river are both great places to spend time, in beautiful surroundings, maroochy surf club has good reasonably priced food, and awesome beach views from the restaurant & bars. Very "cosmopolitan vibe". Suits young and old, wealthier travellers as well as backpackers. Like the shops, eateries and parks, gardens, beaches. Ferry ride was fabulous and inexpensive, hop on off etc. Bike trails and hiking boardwalks are well maintained. Hard to make a full & fair review as there were major renovations going on. In fairness we were told about this a before we arrived but not when I originally booked.We had the option of cancelling but being school holidays there was nothing else available. Just one thing with TV, I couldn’t link to their wifi so I couldn’t watch Netflix but overall was amazing. I love the wonderful natural settings in and around montville and Maleny. We dipped in three separate rock pools with waterfalls during our stay. That's special! Gardners Falls, etc. Lovely bush walks through the National Parks, especially Booloumba Creek. Lots of different bird life, especially the songs of the bell and whip birds. We had great meals provided at our accommodation, Montville Country Cabins so we didn't eat out. We also took our own picnic basket and hamper so that we could enjoy more time in Nature.
