- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,048 reviewsThe perfect destination for a family holiday - friendly, Clean, comfortable and with a wonderful pool that our kids were happy playing in all day! While we’ve heard good things about the restaurant we like to self cater on holiday - there was a well equipped kitchen in our apartment and excellent supermarkets and a Sunday farmers market nearby. There’s a shuttle bus to Hastings Street every half hour which was awesome for avoiding parking hassles when we went to the beach / shops.Guest review byJulietNew Zealand
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 576 reviewsWe loved our stay at this resort, it was great value and one of our favourite places we’ve stayed so far in Australia! We had our own little cabin which felt like a little home, and it was lovely and quiet, really kind gesture of free TimTams in our fridge too, there was lots for families to do but it was amazing for us as a couple too. we’re now looking at other BIG4s to stay in!Guest review byJasmineGuernsey

Sadly, Brisbane has gone the way of other Australian cities.
Sadly, Brisbane has gone the way of other Australian cities. First, they made the mistake of building a busy expressway along the river in the centre of the city. Then the developers moved in and replaced many beautiful Heritage buildings with ugly high-rise buildings in various hideous shapes. A few heritage buildings have survived and it is worth getting a brochure from the tourist information office to find them. The highlight of my week in Brisbane was a visit to the Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens, which is just a short (and very pleasant) bus ride from the city. I also enjoyed the art gallery. I also love the Roma Street Parkland.Guest review bySylviaAustralia - 10.0

It's a lovely quiet spot compared to a lot of other beaches/locations on the GC. Hire a bike from Kool Bikes in Coolangatta and cycle along the waterfront from Cooly to Currumbin - a great way to spend a couple of hours.Guest review byMaureenNew Zealand - 10.0
Cairns is an excellent base for tourists visiting north...
Cairns is an excellent base for tourists visiting north Queensland. It is a convenient hub for transport to other parts of the area and it also has very good local transport. I love the lagoon on the waterfront and I enjoy swimming there. I also love walking on the promenade along the waterfront. You can see a wide range of shorebirds on the mudflats there - some of them are migratory birds which have flown thousands of kilometres to spend the summer there. The Botanic Gardens is fantastic and contains two excellent cafes and two information centres. Once a week there is a free bird-watching walk which I highly recommend. Behind the Botanic Gardens there are wonderful walks in natural forest and yet more great walks in the area opposite the gardens. Cairns itself is a very interesting place to wander around with lots of restaurants, a gallery, a museum and a weekly market. It hasn't been taken over by ugly high-rise buildings as has happened to so many cities. I always enjoy my time in Cairns.Guest review bySylviaAustralia - 8.0

To see all the attractions and tourist attractions guests would definately need to consider a hire car. We could not have achieved what we did without a hire car. Dining options in the Palmer Mtreet area are excellent.Guest review byRhondaAustralia - 10.0

I attended a cricket game at Harrup Park, which I had never been to before. Google maps made it easy to find and the facilities are amazing. One afternoon, I walked the Mackay Bluewater Trail. It was interesting and I felt safe on the trail.Guest review byKENAustralia - 8.0

This trip was a stopover after medical appointments within the City, and choosing to stay so close to the Grand Central Shopping Centre was an added bonus. Toowoomba has a lot to offer visitors and tourists alike, but not for us this time around, as shopping was on top of our list, and we were not diappointed with the variety of quality stores in the City.Guest review byDonnaAustralia - 10.0
Walking distance to everything, easy to get around, plenty...
Walking distance to everything, easy to get around, plenty of choices for places to eat as well as a great Cole's supermarket. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you want to be. A road trip to Daintree, Cape Tribulation and the Wildlife Discovery Centre is easily done in a day. A boat trip up the Dickson Inlet is a fun and informative thing to do. Snorkelling out on the reef is a must if you have never done it.Guest review byTrishNew Zealand - 10.0
Historic waterfront precint better than Adelaide or Hobart..
Historic waterfront precint better than Adelaide or Hobart....a must visit 2. Cafe, Bakeries, etc were very good........especially Coffee Club on Quay Street, the Artizen Gluten Free Bakery, Malaysia House, and at the Rocky Brewery. 3. Explore town riding the local Bus services 4. The 1909 Steam Tram ride at the Archer ParkRail Museum....only steam Tram still running in the world 5. Worlds only proposed Olympic Rowing Course with crocerdiles in the whole wide world.......an incentive for crews to row faster then they ever have before.Guest review bypeterAustralia - 10.0
