- From £92.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,324 reviewsFantastic location for exploring Port Stephens -- walking distance to eateries and supermarket. Clean room, ample parking lots. We booked the Deluxe King but I'm sure we received the Deluxe Suite, because there was a huge bathtub which we enjoyed using after a long but fun day at the beach :) We had a dolphin watch cruise the next morning, so we could easily walk to the marina without having to worry about parking.Guest review byJolinSingapore
- From £101.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 153 reviewsI had a wonderful stay at Shoal Bay Holiday Park! The tent was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable experience. Being close to nature, I stepped out of the tent at night and was greeted by a sky full of stars. Plus, having the convenience of parking my car right next to the tent was a great bonus. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway.Guest review byman sze kerryHong Kong
- From £141.80 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 256 reviewsWe were on a road trip to the snow and sadly arrived late both times to appreciate our surroundings. We appreciate the phone calls months ago as we had booked two nights one week apart that would have looked like a booking mistake on our behalf so thank you all for making sure we had booked both dates.Guest review byMarry ApplePhilippines
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 20 reviewsWe really liked the accommodation. It was very comfortable and the location right by the sea was excellent. There are great hiking trails nearby and the centre of Prost Stevens/Nelson Bay is not far away. If we didn't live so far away, we would love to come back often.Guest review byMichaelGermany

It was so close to the beach and from coffees and shops. And, the team was really welcoming and so nice. I can only highly recommend it.Guest review byAnaïsFrance

The set out, our cabin, the garden. We booked 2 nights and ended up staying 3. If we didn't have a flight booked we would have stayed longer.Guest review byVickim62Australia

We liked our villa, very comfortable, the camp kitchen was the best we have seen. The grounds and amenities were great, reception staff very friendly. We did not find anything to complain about. We had some great meals close to the holiday park. Easy walking to the shops in the Main Street .Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

The owners have a wonderful guide book of everything you can do in and around Salamander Bay. Use their suggestions - Its detailed and a great way to finding the best food, best walks, bakeries, coffee shops, best play areas for children and things to do in wet weather. They haven't missed a beat in this guide book! We had a wet week so went ten pin bowling, movies, Soldiers point Bowling Club which has a fantastic play area for kids. Two Bobs bakery in Nelson Bay is fab and Atmos for lunch in Shoal Bay is the best for a sunny day eating great Greek food and watching the Bay glisten in the sun - perfect for long lunches!Guest review byTREACYAustralia - 10.0

We loved Sir Francis Drake accommodation the best and all its facilities. We also loved going to woollies as it was just 4minutes away. We enjoyed the hotel food and a few take aways from KFC AND MACDONALDS which was just across the road. we found it easy to get around as we have our car, however getting a taxi is just a call away, but Didi was a bit difficult to get.Guest review bysalota - 8.0

I liked that we had the beach so handy, even though it was winter, and hubby played putt putt, and we enjoyed a hit of tennis. We were warm and cosy in our cabin, but I would like to visit in Spring or Autumn when its a little warmer to have BBQ's and sit outside at the Cafe. Overall a nice spot to stay, and handy to other activities, amenities and sightseeing.Guest review byKrisAustralia - 4.0
The property does not deserve a 8.1 rating.
The property does not deserve a 8.1 rating. Could not use the shower or the air conditioner due to there below poor condition, including foul smell. Beds were terrible. Motel was cramped with terrible parking. It was a very unpleasant stay, we couldn’t wait to leave.Guest review byJodieAustralia - 8.0

Loved the location of Bannisters which is right across the road from the Bowling Club and down below Bannisters is the sailing club where you can get a coffee overlooking the water. There are quite a few restaurants nearby and Holberts Prawn and Oysters are a few minutes drive away.Guest review byCharlesAustralia - 10.0
So much to see and do.
So much to see and do. The people of Fingal Bay and surrounds take great pride in their towns, everything is so clean and well maintained. The views are amazing, lots of places to enjoy good food or a cocktail. Do yourself a favor and head to Fingal Bay and surrounds! Must do is a trip out to Tea Gardens on the Original Tea Gardens Ferry. Kerry the captain is full of information and daily the dolphins swim on the side of the ferry on the trip across the beautiful waters. Another must do is a trip to Anna Bay Sand Dunes and ride the camels, have breakfast or lunch at The Crest Cafe at Birubi Beach while you're there.Guest review byJacquiAustralia - 10.0

Karuah was a great place to get to and experience what it has to offer. Access was easy for everything. The RSL offered a good array of meals and the price was reasonable. I note that there was also a Pizzeria in Karuah - maybe we will try that next time.Guest review byGayleAustralia - 8.0

We only stayed the one night but Medowie appears to be a great little town. It's obviously a good community everything is tidy and well cared for. The newly refurbished pub is definitely the place to be on a Saturday night with great food & entertainmentGuest review byeltoro_56Australia
