- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 214 reviewsBeautiful, tucked away property that provided peace and quiet amongst nature away from the crowds in Noosa. We loved it here. The room was quirkily decorated ( think Balinesque) and had everything we needed. Breakfast options were provided in the fridge along with fruit, wine and some Christmas goodies. This meant that we didn't need any interaction with our host at all but on arrival he (Russ) was very welcoming and helpful and made it clear he was available if we needed him for anything. The room had a deck where you could sit amongst the trees and just enjoy the birdsong - was just lovely. You would need a car to get around because it is tucked away but free parking available so no problems. Its about 15 minutes away from Noosaville and probably 25 minutes from Noosa Heads. Parking in Noosa at busy times is crazy. We really liked the more low key vibe of Noosaville for the evenings. Highly recommend doing the Sunset River Cruise from Noosaville - BYO wine and food.Guest review byIanSingapore
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 146 reviewsLouise gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. We were given an upgrade at no cost because some leaks were being fixed during our stay period. The cabin was well furnished and self-contained. Loved the decorative detail and thought put into making the place look so homely and cosy. The balcony overlooked a field and mountain in the distance. Just a 10 minute walk from the Eumundi Markets and the nearest eateries in the area, it was convenient and we used it as a base to go out to Noosa and other places. Would totally recommend Gridley for a comfortable and wonderful experience.Guest review byDanielSingapore
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 29 reviewsGina and Duncan have made the property a safe haven for all. They are welcoming, kind, hospitable, accommodating, and overall just wonderful human beings. If you’re a nature-lover seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle, or a couple who’s wanting time to reconnect/ recharge away from family, this is your sign to explore Alaya Verde. Breakfast views may include majestic sulfur-crested cockatoos and friendly kangaroos! The property is only a 25-minute drive from Noosa Heads too, in case you want to spend time by the beach.Guest review byMontahaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 92 reviewsThe location is stunning, and the cottage was homely, with every convenience catered to. I genuinely appreciated the lack of wifi, as my stay felt like a genuine getaway from the stress of the every day. I stayed in the cottage alone to get some writing done, and it was an added joy to join in with the daily animal feeding. I wish I had booked more days, and I already plan to return on my next visit to QLD.Guest review byLeahKardosUnited Kingdom

The town is charming and local shopkeepers are helpful.
The town is charming and local shopkeepers are helpful. Berkelouw's bookshop is marvellous and Pearls for Girls is great for special gifts. The spelt sourdough bread from the local bakery was superb. Eumundi Markets are fun, but paid parking areas were almost full by 9am due to an influx of tourists during NSW school holidays.Guest review byWendyAustralia - 8.0

The motel /room had some basics missing in the kitchen which are usually standard in "Luxury Motels", such as no salt or pepper, paper towels, ice tray in the kitchen. There is no swimming pool on the property, which is standard in most "Luxury Motels". The bathroom was very "spartan", having minimal places to hang clothes, put washing and bathing necessities. A little thought needed in there to make it more user friendly". So overall quite good and satisfactory, but should not be described as Luxury as that implies a higher standard which did not apply here.Guest review byRodgerUnited States - 10.0

A little service town with all you need, IGA, cafe, petrol, butcher and distillery. Farmers market and a small drive to the popular Eumundi markets- worth a look. Town is a little Further away from Noosa Heads than we thought with current delays with road works.Guest review byMelissaAustralia - 10.0

Location was very pleasant, in a quiet location.
Location was very pleasant, in a quiet location. Guests need to come prepared since eating locations are a good drive away. This was not an issue for us. Room was adequate in size. Facilities were well appointed, clean, neat and tidy. Hosts were very pleasant people, informative and good communicators. The only shortcoming, minor, but nevertheless was television and conversation noise coming through the door to the main residence. We had had a long day on the road and wanted an early night.Guest review byDavidAustralia - 10.0

Despite the fact that there's no internet connection, this amazing place is surrounded by nature. During my staying in Doonan, it rained a lot and I couldn't enjoy the beautiful swimming pool in the backyard. I definitely recommend Clear Water Estate for short and long stays in Doonan, which is very close to Noosa.Guest review bySilviaItaly - 10.0

Simon and Sarah are the most wonderful hosts you could ask for. The farm tour was a big hit with the kids thanks to Simon and Sarahs warming personalities and extensive knowledge of the farm and its animals. Will definitely stay here again in the future.Guest review byAdamAustralia - 6.0

Very scenic & friendly town with lots of interesting little shops. Great dinner & entertainment at The Imperial Hotel on Friday night - but disappointed the pub (& the whole town) closed at 9pm!Guest review byDarrenAustralia - 10.0

We were delighted with the house!
We were delighted with the house! It is indeed "gorgeous", and was exactly what we wanted for a family get-together. The rooms were very comfortable; the kitchen very well equipped. The large veranda allowed us to enjoy sunshine and shade as required. The pool was only used by one of our party - just so he could say he used it! But that was because we were there in cooler weather. It was nice and clean. We did have a wrong code for the key box, but the caretaker/manager sorted that out, and even paid us an on-the-spot visit. There was a problem with the barbecue due to no fault of the owner/caretaker, but it was swiftly sorted. We weren't there to go "touring", we did visit the village a couple of times which is very nice, and the local IGA had all that we needed for food. We went to Eumundi Markets, which is very crowded. Other than that we enjoyed our leisure at the house. All of us - 10 folk, from 15 to 80 - loved the house and had a marvellous time. Very grateful and very pleased!! Note - one bedroom is downstairs, which worked okay for us, but may be a problem for anyone with difficulty handling stairs.Guest review byBarry
