very remote for a city girl, but i loved the location, the artwork, the hospitality, the quietness was so welcoming and peaceful, i just thought the bathrooms might have been a bigger in size but may be due to the room i booked

The staff were extra friendly, the pool was clean and the property was maintained exceptionally well. Loved being close to the adventures we wanted to take. Bistro served yummy food and the beers and wine was cold!

Beautiful location, fabulous staff, great food, pleasant pool on the deck, nice room with amazing views, wallabies and water buffalo wandering around. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed meeting the team and other guests. The trips were very good and it was nice to have a drink and canapés at sunset at a different (always stunning) location each evening. The airboats were great fun and we loved skimming across the water to see the plethora of bird and plant life, the binoculars in the room were a nice extra touch. Overall a great experience.

we travelled using car hire and had to pay excess due to the extra klms traveling from Darwin. we used the car to travell to visit other sites which were some distance away. but on reflexation we may have travelled less klm if tourism maps were better,

Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is out of the way and immersed in nature. It's a great location to relax and unwind and we did not miss the tv or wi-fi. The Saloon bar and restaurant is a great service provided by the Lodge and the food served there for dinner was delicious. The staff know the area and can easily recommend things to see and do. They were friendly and professional.

We booked a queen room only the day before.

We booked a queen room only the day before. Check in was at 3pm. We were booked into yellow boats for sunset cruise at 4.30pm which was a 40 minute drive. Requested to get room at 2pm , our queen room was not ready but they offered us 2 doubles. Which we gladly took. Beds awesome. Had a swim in there awesome pool. I had read you must book for the restaurant and this is true. We didn't get back from cruise until 7.45pm as roadworks and husband was pulled over by police random breath test. Thankfully we had booked restaurant as we seen people arriving after 8pm and being turned away. No other food out there really to randomly get. Wish we booked 2 nights one is not enough. Need 4wd to access any look outs ect.

Go to Yellow Water Billalong, Ubirr and Nourlangie and definitely visit the waterfalls while you are here. If you don't have a 4WD, book an all day tour and they can take you. We are dinner at the Mercure restaurant. We had breakfast in Jabiru township.
