Mt tamborine needs a face lift.
Mt tamborine needs a face lift. Looking very tired on it now from what it looked like in the 70ies More like a forgotten place with lots of dilapidated buildings, with some junk stores in the tourist spotsGuest review byNoelAustralia - 10.0

It is a great place to be if you want to be peaceful and quiet or if you feel that it is time to go back to nature for refreshing and refocusing. Allow at least 45 minutes to get to O'Reilly and ensure not to travel in rainy or stormy weather conditions.Guest review byMichaelAustralia - 8.0

The Church was an authentic Step Back in Time with a rich history and the owners have kept it, as it was - we loved that. Nestled on the Hinterland Ridge with so much to offer in a cosy spot. Good value for money.Guest review byAnonymousAustralia - 8.0
Well worth visiting, even as a day trip.
Well worth visiting, even as a day trip. Beautiful, pretty, easy walks with spectacular rainforest scenery and lots of waterfalls. Bring your bathers to have a swim in the waterfall pools and streams. Drive slowly up there cos its nicer but also to avoid running over the cute little jumping Pademelons. You can tell there has been less public investment in Parks/conservation in QLD compared to NSW and Vic so expect the facilities, including walking paths, to be more like 1980s-era elsewhere. Also QLD appears to be struggling to keep up with cleaning up after the continual stream of natural disasters, so check what tracks are open. Definitely shop for groceries and treats before you go. There is a small grocery shop / pub / fast food just opened up there but stocks are very limited & they are still finding their feet. There are no night time restaurants/food (only day time). The locally-designed map of Springbrook is useful but it is not completely accurate - eg the location of English Tea Gardens is not near/at Springbrook Retreat. Highly recommend going to the English Tea Gardens. It has lovely indoor and garden settings and has the best fresh scones i have had in a long time. And in addition to English teas they offer divine Taiwanese teas. There is also tasteful rustic pottery for sale (it is run by a lovely elderly Taiwanese couple). There are also a few other nice places to have a day- time meals and snacks, including vegetarian offerings. On the way to/from Springbrook, just before the hill climb, there is a lovely large casual garden restaurant/tea stop called Bonappetea. They do High Teas, casual meals, tasting plates (including vegetarian food) and are popular for small events.Guest review byKathleenAustralia - 10.0

Our group of friends had a fantastic weekend at the Bower Cottages. The cottages were charming, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Nestled in a peaceful bush setting, it felt like a true escape from the hustle of daily life. We loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings, surrounded by birdsong and nature. The location was perfect – just a short drive to the wineries, walking trails, and local shops. Highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay with friends!Guest review byJenniferAustralia - 8.0
Fantastic facilities - something for everyone.
Fantastic facilities - something for everyone. Of great concern was the letter provided to us at check-in (see photo attached) suggesting we could be rewarded for giving the facility a 10 star rating. This defeats the objective of a review system and will end up disappointing future guests. This is not the type of practices I would expect from a facility like Kooralbyn☹️Guest review byMark KnightAustralia - 10.0
The main road to Spring brook was closed.
The main road to Spring brook was closed. Made it a bit confusing. All the businesses are OPEN Amazing areas of interest. Polly's kitchen, Boomerang Farm cafe, golf course, herb farm, Panchos, lots more The area was full of things to doGuest review byTraceymumAustralia - 8.0
Friendly, Relaxing and Peaceful to suit our needs.
Friendly, Relaxing and Peaceful to suit our needs. Photos did show a firepit in advert but there wasn't one! Need lighting ambience outdoor sitting area as the night light very harsh. Wifi not good and no remote for TV. Need pots, pans for cooking on stove or BBQ. Bathroom compliments Need to be individually wrapped for hygiene, not large bottles of household supplies. Need entrance lights up driveway and sign on gate for locating property on the busy road!Guest review bySandraAustralia - 8.0

Fabulous location surrounded by National Parks offering numerous activities. Vibrant small town with lots of interesting & useful outlets. Surrounding suburbs are so idyllic places to live in amongst the rainforest.Guest review byJohnAustralia - 6.0

The roads were difficult and navigating where I was supposed to go difficult. It took me 3 times as long to find my accommodation after dark than it did earlier in the day. Roads not well signposted and nothing identifiable at night.Guest review byKristyAustralia
